Review Disclaimer
I review products for what they are with no account of where it comes from or who makes it. The test results are the results for what is in my hand. Due to possible QC difference your experience may vary. There is no way for myself or anyone to predict if a device will last 6 months, 1 year, 5 years etc. Any manufactured item from cars to phones to computers to mods have a possibility of arriving DOA or having a small percent failure rate. There is no way to predict this or quantify this. That’s why warranties and lemon laws exist. I can only review what I have in my hand for better or for worse. Contrary to popular belief, there is no special review samples of higher quality. Most of the time personally i get retail versions, the few times i’ve gotten early releases they are usually worse than the final retail version.

Reviewer Disclaimer
I decided to add this disclaimer in as i feel it’s important for people to know their source of the review. I’ve been vaping since late 2011. I’ve vaped all the styles from MTL to RLH to DTL. tanks, RTAs, RDAs, you name it. I do prefer the DTL and RLH style over MTL personally. My main focus from an atomizer is flavor. For mods i’ve used mechs and regulated mods. I’m an avid temp control vaper but enjoy power mode as well and the occasion mech useage for nostalgia. I’ve been doing reviews since late 2016. As of Jan 2018 I’ve done over 100 written reviews and done over 150 video reviews on my channel, Although i’ve taken a break from videos in the past few months to focus on written reviews.

I spend a lot of time helping vapers on forums as well and try to answer all the questions and comments on my reviews. I’m not an “out of the box” reviewer. I do my best to be thorough at all times. All mods get tested with an oscilloscope and stress tested. At times if needed i’ll disassemble them as well. Rebuildables get multiple builds in them. Tanks i use all coils until the die or a minimum of 2 weeks if they don’t die sooner. I do this for the community to help people find good products and avoid bad ones. In my opinion a reviewer works for the community and nobody else. It’s our job to inform vapers of issues and not be advertisers as well as provide constructive criticism from a place of knowledge back to companies with these reviews so they can improve and make better products in the future.

Introduction:
The Lost Vape Therion BF Squonk 75C mod is the newer version of the single 18650 sqounk therion now with the DNA 75c chip in it. The therions have a long popular history in the vaping community as well. I’m sure at this point most vapers have heard of the therions. As far as color options probably too many to name. And the mod itself isn’t even on lost vapes site. From what i can tell there are silver and black frame options, all with carbon fibre inlays, and 7 different door color options. The one i have is “yellow ostrich” although it looks more of a tan color to me.

Initial Impressions and features
When I first got this Mod, having owned several therions already (166 orange rattlesnake and therion 75c) it’s exactly what you’d expect. Another therion! No seriously they are all pretty much the same from the outside. It’s a beautiful mod for sure. One thing i did notice was the leather on this feels much nicer than the previous 2 i mentioned. This one is also a single 18650 with a sqounk bottle inside.

Performance
No chart on this, the reason being is i’m kind of sick of testing DNA chips lol. I’ve tested many before including the VTinbox (DNA75 chip) and therion 75c (DNA75C chip) they all perform the same. At this point in vaping i’m sure many already know the DNA chips are one of the best in vaping for both power and temp control so not really much more to do here.

Other Usage Notes
So we all know the chip is good, let’s talk more about the mod itself and how the sqounking is. First off like all the therions that battery tray is a nightmare for wraps. It’ll definitely do some wrap damage over time. I know some people have had issues with sticky fire buttons. None of my therions including this one ever had the fire button stick. As you can see pictured above they have some weird divider you are supposed to put inbetween the battery and bottle. Personally i found it gets in the way and don’t use it. Not much of a point to use it as long as your battery wraps are intact it’s not needed.

The bottle it comes with is the best one i’ve seen personally. I’m probably around 8-10 or so different bottles i’ve had for sqounking. This one feels “just right” not too soft but not too hard. Love the bottle. It also has a hole in it you can slide open with the metal ring under the top. What is the hole for? Well it comes with a 30ml “filling” bottle that you screw onto the mod to top fill the internal bottle. So you open that hole on the internal bottle to make it fill easier. And it works great. The included fill bottle is the same firmness. Just right. I just wish it would have came with an extra bottle i’m hoping they are sold separately as i want to order extras to use in other mods. It’s also a standard BF connection so you can use pretty much any bottle you want.

Pros:
  • Power performance
  • temp performance
  • Included 7ml sqounk bottle
  • Build Quality / no button rattle
  • Nice leather stickers
  • color options and looks
  • great 510 pin on mod
  • PC software suite (escribe)
  • DNA75C chip is programmable on chip for most functions
  • included 30ml fill bottle
  • nice bright screen and a good size.
Cons:
  • Battery tray damages wraps
  • Weird battery/bottle divider
  • only 1 sqounk bottle included
Conclusion
So with all that said, do I recommend this mod or not. I Don’t like to do hard yes or no but this one is going to lean towards the yes. It’s a DNA chipped BF mod, it’s going to be hard for any of those to not make my list. It’s pricey though so i can understand if some people think it’s not worth it. But for me it is for sure. I’ll be adding it to my sheet

It can be purchased
USA here for 119.95

This is Anthony Vapes just keeping it honest, hopefully you all can say the same and i’ll catch you on my next review.
