I just joined the forum yesterday and have been helped by many so far. What a great community and come Thurs Feb 25, 2016 I'll be taking the journey to quit this habit and form a new hobby. TFV4 on the way as well as the RX200, and 3 LG HG2's. Already have some juice, with a lot more on the way. Also have a Nitecore I4 waiting for my LG batteries. Will probably end up ordering another set of batteries, be it the VTC4 or 25r just to keep track of my sets easier. Unless you all think I should just get another set of HG2's.

I never want to come off as a nuisance, but if anyone has helpful advice I will read it and reply with much appreciation. The only concerns of mine are how easy it is, once the coils are primed, to get this RX200 in the sweet spot of where I'll be enjoying my vape. So as far as using the volts/wattage on this mod I will be somewhat clueless(friend of mine has the DNA and I've played around with it just for a short time).

I was into RDA's a couple years back but never advanced into the hobby the way I am planning on this time. I do not really plan on building my own coils at first. Maybe in the distant future. I have read many posts on here, and other sites and feel somewhat comfortable. However, I am one who loves getting advice from one and all. Thanks in advance for any replies here and I look forward to being able to help out people in the future.

a question is never a nuicance :)

i would advice a second set of batteries (maybe also consider the vtc5's the extra juice makes a difference) and a seperate charger if you dont have that aleady the rx200 isn't well suited for in device charging
i have a cuboid it uses the same sort of chip (easy to work w)

i love the tfv4, advice on that one: make your own juice and lots of it ;p + be carefull on your nic level depending on the coils you use it could be wise to go /2 on nic (more juice/vape in lungs = more nic intake)

edit: just noticed the charger never mind on that one :p

I will definitely look into the vtc5's. I have looked a little and haven't found a DIY juice guide, if anyone has a link I would greatly appreciate it. I will have about 400ml or so to start with so I'm set on juice for now. Definitely would like to make my own. And the juice I have is mostly 3mg nic so I'm hoping that treats me good.

Yippee! Another smoker really excited about vaping and the possibility that it'll help you quit the smokes! You definitely should be excited, as it really seemed "too good to be true" that it helped me do it...when everything else failed. It's like I discovered this "miracle method" and want to shout about it to the world now. Friends, past co-workers, relatives, neighbors, etc. I've helped many so far to switch, am helping 3 more now, and will always be a staunch supporter of vaping.

Hopefully, if/when it also works for you...you'll pass along the word to others as well. Just think how many people could find out about it what real vaping is (not the disposable convenience/gas station type), if each ECF member helped just 1 other person...and that led to quitting the smokes.

Good luck to you. Have fun along your journey! :)

Thank you for the words of wisdom and support! My brother vapes but still cigs too. Hoping he'll join me along with a co worker of mine. Definitely going to use the knowledge I gain to "pay it forward" if you will

Good to see you determined. One hint: They make wraps for batteries. They're useful in case you damage a wrap; that way you can replace it without trashing the batteries. Fat Daddy Vapes sells them in 5 or 6 different colors. That's the easiest way I know to keep married pairs-- or triples-- of batteries separated. I have a dozen LG HG2s for my 2 RX200s. One set is natural as they came, one set wrapped yellow, one green and one blue. I also bought colored plastic battery storage boxes to match. Just a thought. These are all HG2s (the yellow set is in one of the mods):

Excellent idea that I would have never knew to look into. Thanks a bunch, I can definitely see myself ordering more HG2s as early as the weekend haha

Hello and welcome. Also congrats on your new found path to becoming smoke free! Be ready for that tfv4 to guzzle juice faster than you can re fill it lol. I have one too its a great tank but it is thirsty.
Thanks you! Hoping to learn some DIY skills some day. Juice will still be cheaper than my almost pack a day habit

Tank and mod delivered a day early!! Yesssss, batteries on charge. I think I primed my tank too much, because it had some leakage. I through the batts in real quick and hit it from 20w-40w and the leaking stopped. Sitting here now not leaking. Gonna let my batts charge and then I'll in the clear I believe. Gonna need a syringe or dropper cuz that hole is pretty small on the tfv4

Welcome back into the fold.

I'll also support the recommendation to use a separate box charger and not use the onboard charging unit in the vaporizer. I use the Nitecore i4 myself, and it has been a great charger for over two years now.

Just some basic vaping knowledge for you to review in your spare time:
