Hey guys, I'm new the e-cig world. I just placed my first order last week for the Ultra M601/602 kit. I've been a smoker for about 15 years with many failed attempts at quitting completely. I've come to accept that it's going to be virtually impossible for me to completely kick the habit without a miracle and from what I hear e-cigs are somewhat of a miraculous device. I figured since I was going to start vaping, I might as well sign up on here and join the club.

I've heard somethings about customs dragging their feet with imported e-cigs, has anyone had a problem with ordering from Canada and shipping to the US? It's been almost a week now and I elected to get express 2-5 shipping. Tracking still says it's in Canada, but I have a feeling that USPS is a little sluggish with updating their tracking. Thanks!

It's been my experience that USPS is the slowest way to get anything anywhere. Have never gotten mail from Canada, though.

Hi, I'm new, and decided not to be the noob to start another new thread.
Hopefully I will be tobacco-free soon, though USPS still has yet to deliver mine (I'm sure it'll be here before my kids graduate....)

Well, hopefully I get mine soon. I'm excited to try it out. I ordered bottles of juice from Virginia the same time I ordered my kit and got those 3 days ago. Hopefully I can find a US based supplier I can get parts for a m601 so I don't have to deal with this ungodly long shipping time. I would have elected to go with Fedex or UPS if it had been an option, but unfortunately USPS was the only option and it was $26. LAME.

I know, $26 was a little expensive, BUT it was for 2-5day express. It's been 6 days now and the tracking still says it's in Canada. So, needless to say, I won't be doing that again. Can someone point me in the right direction for a reliable, US based supplier that carries m601 supplies? I looked at beyondecigs.com and was kind of disappointed with their selection, and they only sell pre-filled carts. I think I would prefer blanks. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Hey guys, just thought I'd throw out there that my tracking information went from saying, "Foreign international dispatch," to, something along the lines of arrival at destination. USPS didn't update the tracking information for almost a week. So I was under the impression that it hadn't left the country of origin yet. There was never anything saying it had arrived at customs or anything. I know I was probably just paranoid because of the stories I've heard recently of US Customs seizing e-cig packages, but c`mon USPS, get your ..... together. USPS charges just as much, if not more than the other carriers, and from my experience, UPS is on top of their game when it comes to tracking. The mail here should be arriving within the next 15-20 minutes, and I'm anxiously awaiting the knock on the door. I can't wait to start vaping!8-o

I had my stuff delivered USPS, and it came 2 days after it was shipped (but that was inside the U.S.). The tracking thing only seems to update when it gets shipped and when it arrives. It didn't work real time for me like I am used to on UPS and FedEx shipments...

Anyhow, welcome, and grats on your purchase! This is likely the only way most of us had any chance at quitting.

Oh, hey, you're that one chick... :pervy:

Welcome!

So, at this very moment, I'm sitting here happily vaping away. I must say, I can't imagine ever going back to analogs. This is perfect for me. It satisfies the hand-to-mouth habit, my affection for visual smoke upon exhale and a fantastic throat hit! It's even a little harsh if I take too big of a drag. There is a bit of an acrid taste on exhale, which I assume is the brand new atomizer, so I'm only getting a very subtle hint of flavor from my e-liquid. I'm vaping the Ultra M601 from electronic-cigz.com. Anyone else out there using this model too? Does anyone have any good suggestions for e-juice brands? I ordered PG and VG, I think I prefer the VG. It seems to produce a heavier vapor, while not being as harsh as the PG.

TastyVapor and MsTsBakery are the two I keep hearing around here. I just put in an order to Tasty Vapor and will report back to this subforum when I get it. So far I have tried CigNot's and V4L, and the only one that I really liked for flavor was the Pina Colada. I prefer the VG as well for the vapor production, unless I am somewhere that I have to vape incognito (like work).
