I do wish Jeff would come up with a tweener chuck. 3.7 doesn't do it but I'd like to cut down a wee bit from the six because yeah, I'd like to work myself back down to the 3.7 some day. No way could I bring myself to order any other mod. I decided a long while back that this mod and Jeff have been great to me. I am quite content but should he come up with a 5V version, I'll be one of the first to put a dent in the grocery budget.

I know I could give those wacky E2 cartos a try but they sound like such a pita. The reason I've been so successful with this is because a carto and a chuck equals easy to use, fill etc....no messing around with nothing.

okay so I know this stuff is all over the forum but here ya go....

-3.7v w/ 3.2 ohm atty = 4.28 watts
-3.7v w/ 2.5 ohm "standard" atty = 5.48 watts
-3.7v w/ 1.7 ohm LR atty = 8.05 watts

-6v w/ 2.5 ohm "standard" atty = 14.4 watts
-6v w/ 3.2 ohm atty = 11.25 watts
-6v w/ 4.5 ohm HV atty = 8 watts

Just something to use as reference maybe and fyi....

-5v w/ 2.5 ohm "standard" atty = 10 watts

ETA following morning: I looked at this chart this morning in better detail. Thanks, this is actually a great easy reference so one doesn't have to do any figuring. Thanks for posting it. I usually just skim thru this stuff because by the time I sit down on the computer, which is TV for me, I am pretty much taxed and worn out for the day and the clear thought process is already half way out the door. :)

To answer the other question, I get my 3V batts from lighthound. They are the lifePO4's 500 mah (the little blue ones!) I have two sets, been using them big time, one set in the charger, one in the chuck, switch out every morning. I like my ultra fire charger from the same vendor.
I have used my batts for up to two days but can feel the drop off on day two. Now that I am long past the newbie stage, I quit carrying around the 'diaper bag' full of spare chuck/ batts/cartos/liquid. I just take my chuck and one bottle of juice.

I take my chances but I find myself vaping less and less at work. I am just stuck though, 3.7 makes me feel like I have to really inhale and six volts is getting to feel a bit harsh. I really need a tweener and don't want to deal with lr attys on a 3.7 battery because I've fried them on both attempts and I like cartos and I tried the lr cartos, bleck and don't want to try the E2's because they seem like a pita. I will just sit back and hold out though, wishfully hoping Jeff gets bored in the upcoming winter months. LOL!

I am getting bored with vaping though, perhaps it is time to revisit juice.
