Oh yeah, i remember seeing that now. I was going to get a few of those for my husband but decided against it because they were 2.0's and with being only single coil, that too low for high voltages. Where's the fun in that? ;)

Unless you have a vv device, a LT in my instance, that doesn't play well with the dual coils.....errr.....lol....Again, I see a Rootbeer Buzz in my future I'm thinking....seems like a minor issue unless one likes tanks and can only get the most out of their device using 3.0 singles and you only have one supplier...

You can take 1.5 ohm dc up to about 4.7v on ipro, but they do pull a lot of current.

Ipro and bp are stacked battery, buck regulator. Best battery life is running higher ohms, use higher voltage. I get 6 - 7 ml of use with cartos in the 2.5 - 3.1 range.

Favorite setup is an 801 fusion 2.5 ohm carto in an m1a1 tank. Great flavor, low hassle, just plain nice if you have an all-day eliquid.

In reference to the color on the Ipro or BuzzPro, these are not painted colors. The tubes are anodized :)

Ace, your IPro is beautiful!

What is Anodizing?

Anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish. Aluminum is ideally suited to anodizing, although other nonferrous metals, such as magnesium and titanium, also can be anodized.

The anodic oxide structure originates from the aluminum substrate and is composed entirely of aluminum oxide. This aluminum oxide is not applied to the surface like paint or plating, but is fully integrated with the underlying aluminum substrate, so cannot chip or peel. It has a highly ordered, porous structure that allows for secondary processes such as coloring and sealing.

Anodizing is accomplished by immersing the aluminum into an acid electrolyte bath and passing an electric current through the medium. A cathode is mounted to the inside of the anodizing tank; the aluminum acts as an anode, so that oxygen ions are released from the electrolyte to combine with the aluminum atoms at the surface of the part being anodized. Anodizing is, therefore, a matter of highly controlled oxidation—the enhancement of a naturally occurring phenomenon.

I can get that color in a Buzz Pro?? If so I would "rock" that in an instance.....yes, I am a guy but I don't believe anyone who meets me in person is going to question my choice of color.....

Keeno Look HERE Buzz Pro
scroll thru the color pics , THe 1" tank we have is for Boge or short cartos , the 1.5" is for XL or 50mm long carts like a Ce2 type .

Thank you, I thought I wanted the Rootbeer until I saw Acepilot's purple one. The picture at notcigs doesn't do it the justice it deserves but still looks really nice.

The boge cartos are too short for the dc tanks. I have madvapes dc tanks and pre punched cartos and they work great. I found replacement punched cartos cheaper at Hoosier E Cig Supply and they work great as well. Just make sure to get the right resistance.

No, I have only tried dual coil since I assumed the single coil would be too short to fit into my dual coil tanks. I could be completely wrong on that though. It just made sense to me when I was buying replacement cartos. Lol

Anyone know where I can pick up some 3.0 single coil carts for tanks?? This is looking like a semi-serious issue for me as the only place I've found to get them is thru Volcano. Not a big deal BUT if I'm doing the tank on the LT I don't really wanna be doing it with a 2.0 and be voltage limited....maybe this is my excuse to purchase that Rootbeer Buzz....:2cool: The ones I have are the flanged (new style). I thought they were smoktechs but maybe not because like I said I can't seem to find them anywhere other than volcano.

Boge now makes a 510D XL. 2.8 ohm They are exactly 50mm long. I have 15 of them sitting in front of me, I measured. Same size as the Smok DC's

CCV is going to be carrying them. The only place I know of to get them now is Health Cabin. BTW, the size they quote on their website is wrong.

Edit: the box says 2.8 +- .2 ohm. I just metered two, they both metered 3.0 ohm

Thanks keys, always nice to know ya have options. Gonna give those a try.

You're welcome. It was a pleasant surprise for me when they showed up. I put in an order with HC during their holiday special. I ordered 150 Boge 2.0 LR's for the wife (she is hell on cartos) and 75 3.0's for me (I vape like a fiend). I needed to get the order over $250 for free shipping and an additional discount, so I order 15 of these because WTF. I wish I'd bought more.

Here's a pic of my purple BuzzPro. I have a purple original Buzz too and it's a darker, bluer purple than the BP. Funny thing is I love the new Rootbeer color! Notcigs didn't have the new colors when I got my BP last summer.

Pretty! I love the purple :) I hadn't realized the BP came in colors or else I probably would have gotten it. I love the Ipro (obviously) but it is a bit long. I've accidentally dropped it twice because it's too long to stay in my hoody pocket. Needless to say, I'm greatful it hasn't been harmed and no longer put it there. But... It's kind of too long to put in any pocket which has taken some getting used to.

I may decide (when I get the package) the IPro is too big to carry when I don't have a bag with me, all the VV seem to be too big in one dimension or another. I may just have to get one of the ultra-compact 3.7 mods as well. Has anyone tried those new triple-coil cartomizers, I'm inclined to believe they may have just taken the concept a step too far but may try one eventually just to see.

Thanks for info. The Purple IPro does look very nice (if you're a gal), I ordered the chrome with brass hardware, I don't trust the color to stay put. I'm curious if the Pre-punched Boge SR cartos would be compatible with the Smoktech DCT tank. Rather not buy any more tanks if I don't have to. Rather not punch my own holes either. Also, anyone have any experience with MadVapes DC Cartos, they are unbranded but they have them prepunched at 1.25, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 ohms

I saw a review by vapingmonkey on youtube about cigtech driptips. According to that review their "slug" tip will allow you to you use a regular carto in a dct tank.

Great, would never have found this on my own, even the product description on the website fails to indicate that these could be used in this way.
