Did ya get any free USB memory sticks?

that was 1999, sadly no. I think USB sticks were expensive back then.

Got lotsa shirts, demos, some flashing weird things that just lit up and had no purpose, some Mad Catz hardware and some other crap.

Was fun.

One night we sat up on the roof of some LA hotel with the Rainbow Six team. Was awesome. About 20 of us up there. wish I knew where I put those pictures!

I did find a quick screen cut of when I was killing John Carmack with my machine gun at QuakeCon, Quake 3. I also have screenies somewhere when I killed him like 3 times in a row with my gauntlet. He was sitting on the other side of the table and you can hear him saying the F word and B word. I just yelled out to him "MWHAHAH, I have owned the maker of the game"

Too fun.

The Gamespy party at the hotel was freaking awesome too. Mingling with so many game creators. Ahh. memories.

I definitely had much more fun at QuakeCon

Yes. The Wii classic controller works on the emulators. PLUS.........You will need the Wii classic controller to install BootMii. BootMii is a way to protect your Wii from permantley bricking it. Once BootMii is installed, you will create a NAND Backup........that way if you accidentally brick it you can reboot the Wii and BootMii will still start up and then you can use the NAND Back-up to restore your Wii to working order. Remember folks........Safety first!!!!!

You don't need the classic controller. You can use the face buttons on your wii or a gamecube controller. Though, the classic controller works VERY nicely with old super nintendo games :)

Redgirl, I'm about to go get it here in the next couple days after I finish off Borderlands. Gonna be badass.

Yeah, I wish I had more time to play. It would be so nice just to have a week off just to catch up on some gaming time!

You really do need the classic (or gamecube) controller. The only way to navigate the installation of BootMii is with these 2 controllers. It WILL NOT let you navigate the BootMii install with the WiiMote controller.
That is why I said you MUST have one.............it had nothing to do with playing any games or emulators.

One can use the face buttons to navigate BootMii install. Buttons directly on the machine itself.
