I got a receptacle installed for it outside to back feed (Florida style) too :)

LOL. The only drawback to the Florida style hookup is only feeding one leg on the breaker panel. I got one of these kits at Northern Tool and installed it next to my breaker panel. I've got enough generator to run the whole house, minus the a/c compressor and shop air compressor. Flip the switches and plug in the shore power cable and it's like the outage didn't happen.

Only downside is that kit is about $100 more now than it was when I bought mine.

I have a 220v receptacle installed and it powers everything except the A/C too :). I never tried to run one of the gas fired furnaces though - do you think it would?

Thanks for the link bro :)

OK that makes a little more sense.. you say FL style and I'm thinking a 110v extension cord with male connection on both ends.

Yeah the furnace fan is nothing. I've got a gas dryer too and that's no problem. What you have to use with caution is electrical heating appliances. Electric: dryers, space heaters, water heaters, coffee pots, hair dryer, etc. I've got all gas appliances, so the load is mostly lights and electronics.

One nice feature of that switch I linked to is the ammeters. Easy to see at a glance what the load looks like when on the generator and can help balance the load if your house was built using a crappy electrician.

Hope everyone got thru storm ok? Who's ready for spring this weekend?

Last week I decided to visit my mom for a few days. Bring self employed work from home I brought work with me. Instead of going home on Tuesday I stayed put.

Since I been gone a 1300 mah spinner was delivered and a replacement vamo from fast tech. And some diy flavors!

I'll need to take a few days off to mix flavors and build new coils :D

Hope everyone enjoyed thier milk sandwiches! My power just came back on since its been out since early Wednesday morning. But now my water pressure is a trickle. A water main blew up the road, so all around a terrible week!

Hey peeps. I don't know if anyone else has been to this place, but I just want to mention a place called Big Bang Ecigs in Sandy Springs (Roswell Rd.). I went there quite a while ago looking for some ejuice (I'm not really a fan of Vaperite) & finding them I decided to check out their store. Small little place with no one there when I showed up, however I tried a couple of ejuices from them. I liked them both, bought some of both of them & then realized after the fact that they are high VG & I can't really do high VG without getting a really sore throat.

So, I put the ejuices in my box & never looked at them again until yesterday when I was really bored with the ones I have & decided I wanted to try these again. Well I have to tell you guys that the Sinatra ejuice from this place is AWESOME!!! I have been looking for a good tobacco flavor & there are a few I like but none I have really LOVED until this one. & it turns out that even though the VG is higher in this juice it's not too high for me as I haven't had any trouble with it & I've been vaping it since yesterday.

I'm pretty sure the other juice I got from them will be good too (I remember liking it in the store) but I have not revisited that one yet since I'm really loving the Sinatra right now. So I just want to make mention of this place because their juice is really good. :)

Oh My... No water or power? We lived in Fl and have gone a week without power a few times during hurricane season, But it was warn (very warn) and we had water from the lake to use for toilets. No power meant no water if you are on well water. Here I was .....ing about being stranded for the past few days in a warm home with city water and well stocked fridge. I feel for you and hope this weekend improves. What is a milk sandwich?

Anybody know of any meet-ups in GA to trade juice. I have so much juice I do not need/want

Nothing official, but if you're anywhere near Lawrenceville, there's a group of folks who meet every Thursday at a vape shop near 316 & GA 20: bring some stuff along and I'm sure you could work out a trade or three.

Can you give me the name of the place or the address?

2nd that about SteamCigs. I usually show up around 6pm some get there earlier, some later. Both the staff and most of the patrons are ready to answer any questions and help solve any problems you might be having with your set up. I learned how to build my first coil there. Great place to check out what your fellow vapers are into and share (compare) coil builds, mods, attys, etc. A few of us DIY ejuice and love to have others give us their opinion. Just a pleasant and comfortable place to hang out when you want to be around other vapers. You should try it out. I'm sorry that I can't make it to the next few Thursday evening sessions (husband having surgeries).

I hope Mutt does well. (I don't know what else to call your husband but a conversation during our second meeting led me to think of him as Mutt)

Went by the vape lounge in Gainesville yesterday. Wound up staying a few hours lol. Just hung out with the owner and talked about vaping. He gave me some juice called "Maddrinna". I kind of liked it yesterday, but today it tastes even better. Tastes different almost every time you vape it. It's got a fruity/candy taste. I'm really picky when it comes to juice, and DIY everything, but I may have to stop in his store and pick some of this up every now and then.

He's also got a huge TV with a PS3 hooked up to it, pool tables and all kinds of fun stuff.

Really glad I saw marshbunny's post about this place.

On a side note. Why don't we set up a vape meet at this place sometime? Would probably be awesome and there are a few restaurants in that shopping center too.
