Any Glue safe for CE4 style?

So I buy a lot of these as throwaways and have more than a few in the dead box.. the only thing is they are not dead, they all just slide off the base and after sliding them back on 3 or four times, they won't hold on any more. My sister tried to repair one with crazy glue, which in effect melted the plastic.
I was wondering if something less caustic would work, a touch of a silicone based adhesive - like caulk - or another sort?
I don't want to play with any 2 part epoxy's or gorilla glue types, but I was wondering if anyone had thoughts or tried anything?
I know they are cheap and not meant to last, but I've seriously got over a dozen, and some of them 'broke' like a day into using them, and if I can use a dab of glue to get a few more days out of it, why not?

May be jeweler's glue. I've seen that done on protank (youtube).

Maybe food grade silicone?

Honestly, if you like the ce4 style grab some ce5 clearos instead. Ce5's are made to come apart and have replaceable heads.

Yep, I'd try food grade. Super glue, and gorilla glue are almost the same, so you can skip that step.
