Hey guys little back story and its not halo's faught i know im extreamly busy and its on me. Im usually not a cluts at all, but am dealing with some ptsd stuff from work and supressing watching my brother die in my arms unexpectedly 2 years ago and didnt deal then and now im kinda jumpy, but im getting help so its all good. I say that because im embarised because im the calm level headed guy and not dealing with the i need help thing well as im soupost to be the helper of my friends. So i lost patents when one of my batterirs was bad in my starter kit and couldnt talk c/s and emailing was a game of what to trouble shoot next ( i had already got the info here) so i told them not to worry about it and i ment with no hard feelings and mean it. Well got the two batteries in the mail today and my cat jumped on the sink and it knocked one of the new ones in the wet sink. I know this is not covered as it shouldnt be at all. My question is i dryed it and put it in a bowel of rice. Is there any hope of saving it or should I just order a new batt? Im so embarised as ive never had such luck. Any tips would be awsome.

The best you can do is to try and dry it out thoroughly before you fire it up. The longer you wait before turning it on the better.

It would also be a good idea to put the battery and rice in a sealed container - like a zip lock - to allow the rice to draw as much moisture out of the battery itself - and not suck moisture from the air.

Bwnbama, just like Rick said leave the battery in the rice in a sealed container or ziplock bag to draw out the moisture. I'd wait at least 48 hours in the sealed rice then I would allow the battery to air out for an additional 12 hours. Then click the button 5 times to see if it will fire. If it won't then put it on the charger but DO NOT leave it on the charger without "watching" that battery and let it fully charge before you retry it. I had one similar to this situation and my battery works fine now but I've known others that it completely killed their battery. I think it will mostly depends on how long it was in the water and if you "allow" it to completely dry before trying it. :)
