What is required to become "Verified"?

Must not have multiple serious offenses on the forum.

Perhaps some rule like verified members can post and normal members can view (cant post)?
If not, what is the use of classified section? Newbie cannot find the goods they are looking for and will look elsewhere or give up vaping. Verified "old birds" members trading ego battery with another ego battery?
The rule of newspaper advertisement. Expensive to post, cheap to read.
My 2 cents worth.

***NOTE - The verification process is NOT immediate and are handled manually. Verification will be processed at least once per day, usually in the evening. It is possible to be more frequent but this will be dependent upon my schedule.***

It's not that hard to be verified. only takes a few minutes of ur time to key in all the necessary details. n wait roughly a few hours to a day, depending on when u did the verification process. The purpose of verification is as follows:

Members selling, trading, and buying on the forums were anonymous, leaving defrauded members with no recourse when transactions went bad.
There were virtually no limitations to whom could buy/sell in the Classified section, meaning members could make their 5 post, then move on to buying and selling. Practically all fraud claims we investigated were from very new members.
Members receiving negative feedback had begun to increase unreasonably.
It was time for ECF members to be safe!

it only took me 5 mins to apply and a day to get verified. my paypal account was 'verified' a long time ago tho.
Just saying hello to new members in the forum counts as a post. it's not even a spam...
