Any ideas about starting a grassroots effort to make ecigs favorable to the masses!

Aloha Everyone!

I am a newbie to this forum, however not to ecigs. I have been vaping for about a year and a half now and have not "smoked" a regular cancer stick once since I started.

I'm assuming most users of ecigs probably feel the same way about vaping in public as I do, and that is I want a constitutionally recognized "right" to vape, whenever and wherever I am. It is not my fault that their are ignoramuses out there, that literally have run to tell on me to the authorities when they "caught" me vaping.

So my question I pose to anyone out there who happens to stumble on my post, is:

How can we get the word out, or otherwise encourage the authorities who want to ban ecigs, to fund the studies that will prove once and for all, that ecigs are harmless to the so-called innocent bystanders?

Please feel free to continue this thread until we all can see some progress in establishing our rights. Remember how you felt when the authorities made us feel like lepers just because we smoked?
Thanks for reading my post, and please help stop the madness!

...your first step would be to goto CASAA | The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association and join up...there is a ton and a half of info and print outs available on their resources page to help you...I(wife and I) have printed up a bunch of stuff for the admin at her employer(hospital) and some nice trifolds for the curious...remember, grass roots starts with YOU..........

I don't know. Send an e-cig to your local congressman who smokes? Maybe that will trickle up the ladder?

Otherwise it's the little guys vs. the big tobacco companies. And it's the big companies that run The Show.

OR

The other thing that comes to mind is a viral video perhaps on youtube that drives viewers to a microsite that educates them.

After watching my father, my grand father and favorite uncle die of smoking related cancers and expecting the same fate for myself its hard not to evangelize the freedom from an assured death that these things offer to addicted smokers. I am still in the digestion phase, amazed I have not had a regular smoke in nearly a month. After trying everything in my power to quit I had quit quitting and resigned myself to my fate. The only cold comfort coming from knowing my extra tax paid on a pack of cigarettes would perhaps help some children with health issues. Now that these things have helped me kick a lifelong habit its natural to want to see all your smoking friends switch to E cigs.

I would make a few more posts and then participate in the political discussion forums.
