Can anyone give us the heads up, on which one is the one to go for, which is the best of the two????
smok 220W G PRIV Touch Screen Kit OR, GX2/4 350w Mod by smok ?

My target 75 fire up and off button has died GRRRRRR.. Looking to use the ceramic coil & tank from it, on what ever one of these two bad boys I buy.

My recommendation is to get the Vaporesso Revenger 220W. All I heard was good things and heard a lot. Personally I think the Smok hype is over or basically should be over by now. I've heard enough about Smok mod issues. My Alien died on its own. Boy I took care of it. My goal is not to put down Smok, just that you should not have your mind just set on this one company because there's so much out there. I'm actually purchasing the Revenger today. Good luck with your decision.

IDK. I own neither of those mods so I can't comment, other than if you'd use the 4 battery mode at times, that may be useful. I don't recall either of these mods being Super Major Known smok offenders, though I think some folks have said the 2/4 door mod can have some door issues, and possibly some paint flaking?

I do also think it's reasonable to check out other mods and if you have done so already and these are your choices, I might personally get the G Priv touchscreen, but I just happen to prefer how that mod looks. I haven't vaped either so I can't speak to the vape, but either one would be an upgrade from a 75 watt mod. If you are planning to use ceramic in TC mode, it's my understanding that smok is *not* known for doing good TC, and you might want to look elsewhere. If you are mainly interested in wattage mode, I'd say to just go with the one that appeals to you most, buy from somewhere that has a decent warranty, just in case. I mean, I'd always recommend that, but in the case of smok, it can be kind of important, as either they will work great and be workhorses, or die right out of the gate (so it seems, and I have to say *some* issues appeared to be user error and whatnot, but not all of them. With that said, smok sells a lot of mods, so sometimes you are going to hear about mod issues, probably).

To your inquiry while avoiding the anti-Smok campaign.......

I have a G-Priv and a GX2/4, both having some good features that relate more to personal preference.

The G-Priv is a much larger dual 18650. The biggest plusses for me are the fire bar, touch screen making it very easy to navigate the menu system, a button for one quick click to enter stealth mode or hold for a second to lock the screen, and a very strong magnetic battery door. I won't call them cons, but the size is less pocket friendly limiting my use to mostly at home and the magnets are so strong I sometimes have a bit of difficulty opening it. It is a great mod that the touch screen may be worth the added size.

The GX2/4 as you probably already know runs in dual or quad 18650 battery mode. In dual mode, it is the smallest of the 5 other dual battery mods I have (probably why I mostly use the G-Priv at home). It has the same easy menu system as the Alien, very quick/easy to lock. The fire bar is smaller, but still works well with just a squeeze of the mod. The biggest plus to me besides the small size in dual mode is the ability to quickly change to quad battery mode. Not only for the added power of safely going over 120 watts, but the additional battery life if going out overnight. I have found it more comfortable for me then any other triple or quad battery mod. From what I am hearing, many are buying it and only using it in dual battery mode. The only con I have is when changing/removing the batteries. It is not so much a problem as knowing not to just rip them out which could damage the wraps. The slots have a compression connector on one end, so just need to lift the other end first. More personally, but I really like the car-like finish and have never heard before of any paint problems or flaking.

Bottom line, my preference is the GX2/4 based mostly on the flexibility of use. Small when heading out for several hours, yet a couple days of battery life when needed.

May I recommend the Smoant Battlestar as a third alternative?

It can be had for less than $50, it's 200 Watt capable, it does temperature control flawlessly, there are precisely zero complaints from its owners here, its chipset has a 95% battery efficiency rate, it'll take any sized tank you care to top it with and it's built like a tank.

If you're looking for a small single battery mod, stop when the list scrolls to Pico 75. But for a dual battery device, the Battlestar is hard to beat. And yes, I own a Pico Dual and I reach for my Battlestar more now.

WOW! some nice information here, Thanks for your experiences and thoughts on which way to go. HAHHA The problem with subject matter knowledge is that two edged sword; Pro's, it helps with product knowledge, and personal experiences and opens other possibilities not previously considered all as said, good pluses. And the BIG Con as always, confusion, this is good but that is bad, we need this, or that, but you don't get the other, you get the point. Humans are funny creatures aren't we!

I am a sucker for them pretty lights and flashing things, SAD! The G-Priv even controls the weather hahah. But, but, as said, it's not pocket friendly, So buy bigger pants, ahah. Reliability, I often wonder if it's like anything, sell a 1000 cars and you will always get 20 or so questionable ones who like playing their new masters up! But ask the rest and they are great, same with most things, E-Cigs I suppose in this case, and often this SODs law ethics thing applies.
Or, buy the Russian tank HAH the Smoant Battlestar, But, it's Russian ( not really). The AK47 of the E-Cig world, sort of thing going on. It's the, has to be small but Big, lots of lights, but simple, and must wash the dishes, build like TANK, but nice looking and soft. The Revenger From Vaporesso a newbie, has a nice clock< I like that> but one of them on my R2D2 mobile phone thing! Ummmmm. I need more time, My Demon possessed Target 75vtc has decided to work again, FOR NOW, how long for, is in the tea leaves I expect, so I take a my emergency back up JUST IN CASE! at which point the Battlestar ( Russian tank) seems appealing, but I am always draw to them silly flashing lights, virtual sliders, and mood change buttons of the G-Priv.

I know, I could buy them all; Ummm MONEY is something I cannot afford to buy, and I need lots of that to buy them all. I will let you know, after consulting the Oracle of Delphi, them old witches will surely tell me which way to go, Or where to go more like, ahahah.

Well in the end I want for the GREEN SMOK GX2/4. I am going though a green phase in my life at the moment, WHY, Don't ask me! I can still use the 3.5mil C-Cell + tank from the Target 75 on it and a couple of other older backups i have. I love the clear taste the C-Cell gives compared to almost anything else out there. Just hope the GX2/4 is more reliable than than my Target 75, shame as I did like that mod, but as they say, crap happens.
