Any Issues With The Chrome Finish?

I ordered a "DID" Atty today and was just going to get a normal red display Provari with ext cap. Then I thought about how the DID is chrome and it would probably look better with the chrome finish ProV. I just worry about what my wedding ring will do to it. I had one SS mod and it scratched the piss out of it. My wife would get sideways when she seen my ring on the desk. I know the standard finish was fine and people said the black one scratches pretty easy. So what about the Chrome?

The chrome is chrome plated i know that so it may scratch but it seems to be a pretty durable finish. If the finish did happen to wear off it is SS underneath so it may not show much . Its a hard call. THe strongest would be the satin black since its ceramic coated however if you were to scratch it then it would show badly. The satin silver is also a strong finish that iv been unable to scratch . A custom polished chrome Provari would fit good since any scratches can just be polished right out. I know im not helping much just giving some ideas.

No hey, any feedback is good. Gets me thinking. I have lots of time to think now though. I had to pull the trigger on a Iatty2 just 5 minutes ago. So I had to get a chrome lambo and will have to wait on the Provari now for tax time. I ended up getting a real good deal on the Iatty and lambo. Atty was $117 and its new so no worry about any flaws that I cant get taken care of. Total for both was under $175 shipped with the discount code. Killer deal.

Good to know. I would rather keep the $20 and get the satin one then. I know it wont scratch.

Was concerned about scratching also; I just got the satin silver one and the finish seems really good. Having just got it I can't comment on its' durability, but it has the 'appearance' of durability to me. I suppose others here who've had them for a bit can comment much more relevantly than I

I havent been able to scratch the satin silver or chrome but i dont wear rings or keep them in my pocket.

I had the satin one and it took a beating. The finish was nicked in two places and you could only see it when u looked for it. The Zenesis was another story. It was all scratched up and I didn't even notice it. That thing was never knocked over or left the desk. The satin ProV was never marked like that from my ring. That's why I ask about the chrome finish. Not worth the extra money if I have to take the ring off.

I had a Provape1 for 2 years/ satin finish..Very durable... ? I have two Black Satin Provaris(full size and a mini) Great looking finish thats durable... Glad I dont were a ring anymore...lol

Thanks for the followup. I do wear one ring, on my vaping hand too, but universe willing it will never come off.. I would much rather have a totally scratched up 'vari
