The Stardusts I have are all 510. They all leak a little, not much, just a few drops out of the bottom. I would expect that the Stardusts for the 808 will do the same thing so I wouldn't use them on an unsealed 808 battery. If the center of your battery has a hole in it, you have an unsealed battery. The liquid could flood it.

I also have the Flux Phoenix in both 510 and 808 threading. They’re great! 9 of the 10 I have (two boxes) don't leak at all, as long as you fill them right and I'm guessing you are :) It seems that a 9 out of 10 success rate with any cartomizer is good, so I'm not complaining. :p

I bought a vision 1st generation (short wick) clearomizer for my 808 and it works fine. I checked with the vendor who said that lots of people can vape well with them on an 808 just don't fill the cartridge near the battery and make sure the connector end is dry. I haven't lost a battery yet.

Not to derail this thread but usually the Stardust is the least leaky clearo out there. If I were to recommend something for an auto batt, it would be the Stardust. Come to think of it, I've never heard of it leaking other than when the tube cracks.

So this makes me unbearably curious as to what's happening with yours... How full do you fill them, for instance?

@peach1605 – Don’t let what I said about them leaking stop you from trying it. Looks like I’m in the minority. Go for it!

Maybe it IS me…but I watched a lot of videos about how to fill the Stardusts and I think I’m doing it right.

@ kelleymcm, I stand corrected, I should have said that all of “mine” leak a little.

@Briar & @harleydiva –
Ok, so maybe I am doing something wrong, I’ve only been vaping for a whole two months, but I can’t imagine what. I fill them off the battery. I tip them and I Know nothing is going down the center tube. Because they were leaking a little I started using a small paintbrush to wipe off the top of the rubber cap and a cotton swab to wipe the threads before I put the tip back on. I even turn it upside-down when I screw it on the battery (I read that somewhere, it actually helped a bit). I’m in Florida so it isn’t an altitude thing…if you can discern from my ramblings what I’m doing wrong, Please let me know!

The version of the 808 stardusts that I have leak a very, very small amount. Like a drop on the end of the battery connector. It could be that I'm getting juice in the center tube, but it happens more than just right after filling. Anytime I take it off after use it has that one little drop. However, I did not purchase these from GV, so I can't speak specifically to the ones they carry.

I bought some cheap Stardust knockoffs that sucked :(... and people posted that these drops are actually condensation. Not sure if this applies to you but it may be helpful. I did notice one time I used my cheap knockoff on a raging hot day with high humidity there was a little drop on the battery every few puffs... Hope it helps...

Edit: and people posted on manual bats you needed to inhale for a sec after the cutoff or you would get condensation (for cheap ones). Maybe some condensation in the drip tip is going down the center post onto the battery?

I have V1 and V2(newer plastic not replaceable) in 510/ego and 808 thread, typically they lead one drop of juice onto the top of my battery, though I did have a 808 yesterday leak enough to fill the drop well on a lavatube. Deffinatly worth trying are easy to fill and vape pretty good, I do get muted flavor when compared to a boge carto, hoping to order a vivi nova tank today which I have high hopes for
