Just wondering if you plan on introducing a 14500 battery based precise in the near future. I see the Super Six used to support this size. Reason I ask is another vaper in my house in not impressed with the size of my BB and SB. So would be in the market for such a device if the diameter and length were within similar range to his current eGo sized device. It doesn't have to be spot on match to eGo dimensions but he would like for it to be close. He wants to get off the proprietary battery train to something more battery friendly like my mods.

I think David will make one.

I would like to see something new though.
I want to see a top button 14500 mod.... or just something new featured on it.
A lot of us already have the p16 with similar size mAh of the 14500 batteries.
I think it would sell better if it had something different to it.

Just my opinion though.

The Super6 is / was a great machine. With The AW IMR batts it's even better.

I'd like to see an all SS Super6. Maybe incorporate the new button assembly but other than that, it's a schmokin design...

Agreed! I recently acquired one of the first run, all aluminum Super 6's. It doesn't even have the S6 engraved on the button! Let me tell you, that, after a good cleaning, some Noalox, a button throw adjustment, and some polish, this thing is AWESOME, both aesthetically and functionally. It fires every time, and looks great doing it. You have to hold this thing in your hand to realize the almost sheer weightlessness of the all-aluminum construction. A little more weight of SS wouldn't deter me, as long as the sleek lines of the S6 were maintained.
A question, BrockJ, if you don't mind....... Which AW batteries, specifically, are you referring to? Are they protected?
Thanks. :D

These are the ones, I believe, that he means AW IMR 14500 LiMN Rechargeable Lithium Battery

They are safe chemistry LI batteries. You may need some additional brass washers to make these work well in the Super Six, because the AW is shorter than a protected cell.

Super T sells a "Precise 16340/18650 4 Prong Brass Contact Post for switch", which is $4.99. This screws into the Super Six button too and means a lot less washers and better contact for LIMN batteries. Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.

The ones North Shore posted a link to from Lighthound are the exact ones I'm using. I got mine directly from the mfg before they were being distributed. Long wait.. By the time I recieved them I could have purchased them from LH.

They are not protected but it's a single battery / not stacked so there's no real danger of uneven discharge rates.

As far as the S6 contact. I using the one from a Precise with the 4 star head (also linked to above) and a brass nut to lock it in place.
No more washers for me :w00t:

Hey Joe
I also have one of the first run, all aluminum, S6s and agree it is hard to believe how light they are. I also have one with brass ends and still feel the weight to be minimal. The SS on my p10s and P16 does add a little weight but they offer a more solid feel and minimal upkeep. Bottom line - all of David's creations are fantastic and I keep my eye open for the next waiting line. (SS 14500 as slim and short as possible by leaving out the option for two CR2s?)

The battery North Shore posted is a significant improvement over the Trustfire/ultrafires and would suggest trying them.

By the by :

eGo sans cone = .550" dia. x 2.750" lngth

Precise 16 = .730" dia. x 2.913" lngth.

Looks like that might meet your friends requirements.

IMO it shouldn't be just some 14500 device from SuperT, it should be the Precise 14500. I don't think there is a sleeker and classier looking mod in the industry than the P10. To have just a slightly wider version of the P10 would be just fantastic as it would look more like the original yet perform like the P16. Just my :2c:.
