The MVP2 is essentially the big brother of the itaste.

I personally think it has a better form factor to it. I like the feel of it a lot more in my hand. The battery is phenomenal, as well.

I also like that it has a built in resistance reader on it. Comes in handy.

As Rossum said, just get it because you want it ;)

Hi

This one comes down to what you really need, and a matter of style.

For some people having the long run time of the MVP2 is important if you are out and about all day and don't want to be bogged down with carrying multiple devices, or one device that requires extra batteries. The typical user can get two days run time out of an MVP before it needs a recharge. People out and around all day have found that built in charger feature of the MVP2 to be handy on occasion for cell phones etc.

But the MVP is going to give you essentially the same vape experience as your VV V3. So if you don't need or want the extra run time of the MVP then the only other reason to get it would be you like the box style better.

Hi All. I recently purchased two Innokin iTazte VV 3.0s and I've been wondering if there is any point in purchasing an MVP2. Obviously the battery will far outlast that in the vv, but since I've got two of them...dunno. Is there any other reason why the addition of an MVP2 would be warranted? Thanks for your replies.

Well seeing as you recently bought to VV V3, no need to hurry.

How much did you used to spend per month on cigarettes?

Whatever it was, I'd consider your vape budget to be HALF that per month.

What tanks are you using?

As each month passes, check your vape budget and maybe at some point you buy a tube for replaceable batteries; maybe an svd, vamo, sid, or zmax; or maybe a vtr, 134, or evic; or maybe a provari.

btw, I'd like to know how/if that vv v3 performs as a passthrough a few months from now when it stops taking much/any charge.

Actually, the VVs have the resistance checker as well.

Ask yourself this. will this be the last vv / vw device your going to buy. Are you looking for a be all end all vape device. First off I would say ditch vv as its kinda old tech. Vw is more consistent. It will adjust your voltage to maintain watts and watts are what produces heat which makes vape. With a vv you will need to do the math or just guess what volt your wanting to run when using x ohm atty. I know its not cheep but you might want to look into a DNA 20 or DNA 30 mod like the db modz mini or a Hana mods. It will be the last vw vape you'll ever need and you can spend your money later down the road on nice tanks or a few rba/rda setups.

I have both and credit both in relieving me from a 35 yr analog habit.
I like each form factor, but have a small gripe with each, the power buttons.
After confirming the power off, I've found the VV V3 firing in my from pocket on occasion, the 3 press lock is not enough.
With the MVP v2, the power button is too small or recessed or just not a comfortable firing position.
Both compliment each other extremely well...

Hook, line, and sinker!

You may also wish to consider some other DNA mods too; e.g. the Vaporshark DNA and the Protovapor XPV. Here's how they compare in size to the VV3 and the MVP:

(Ignore the 1300 mAh spinner on the left, it's obviously superfluous to this discussion).

Hmm, well - You can always use the MVP2 to recharge your VV3's when a snow storm knocks out your power. :2cool:

I tend to use my MVP2 at home and take my VV3's when heading out - easier to hold the smaller form factor of the VV when driving, and nice being able to set the MVP on the table without it tipping over when at home. I've got small hands, so a big mod is not a viable option for me.

I have both the v3 and the MVP2. As stated the vape is identical from both of them. I use the v3 while the MVP is charging usually. I will take the v3 out and about with me when I know I won't be away from home too long. If I know I may be gone for a while or am not sure how long I will take the MVP and not have to worry about running out of battery. The MVP combined with the Nautilus is great. I don't have to worry about battery life or running out of juice.

MVP is a great little device. easy to carry around and is super reliable with the 2600mah battery. I love mine. Personally, i am not sure i would spend $200 on a DNA30 mod as you can get a lot stuff for that kind of money. Besides if you are new to vaping you will likely get sucked into rebuildables and mechs - it seems to be the natural progression.
