I have a clone v2. I do a standard microcoil. I put the wick up on one end to touch the fluff and down to the deck on the other end.

Dirty wick, sorry!

Very intriguing this one....dont both wicks need to be upwards so they can draw the liquid as theoretically the atty base wont get any juice on it

I have one, though I think it's probably a clone. So far I've only used it as a dripper, so I'm just following along in this thread to see what I can learn about this thing.

I also have a couple of Achilles clones, which I like better because of the deep well.

Been working for me for a few months :). I figure one tail down might sop up anything that may drip onto the deck? Its always juiced so either the bottom does soak some up or it flows through.

I build my Spheroid this way, too.

Will have to give it a go bud and will let you know as always wanted to try cotton in this atty. Next up to try is a mico coil and silica, might be tough to thread through but I have an idea. This is what I'm currently running. 4 wraps of .25mm kanthal around 2mm silica which has been doubled and made like a figure of eight which as you can see from the pic gives you a loop either side. Works a treat.
