Any recommendations for Liquid with decent NIC and low throat hit?

I know everyone seems to love a good throat hit but we (my gf and I) don't seem to be tolerating it very well! We've been smoking e-cigs for about 3 weeks now after completely giving up analogs. We both have automatic Bloogs and absolutely love them. BUT, any liquid we try with throat hit seems to be making both of us cough!

We started with the stock fluid that came in the pre filled bloog cartos. 18 and 24mg Chocolate, and Watermelon 11mg. They all made us cough if we took more than a short draw. Then we tried Freedomsmokeusa. I picked up about 8 different flavors ranging from 6-24mg NIC using everything from %100pg-%100VG and various mixes in between. Same problem!

That brings me to a couple days ago. We spent an evening with my buddy that introduced us to vaping and ECF and he gave me a bottle of 18mg Red Velvet Cake from madvapes. We can both take full 5-6 second draws (whatever the auto cutoff time on a bloog is) with tons of vapor and I don't feel any throat hit, no lung spasm, no cough. I do see what you guys like about the throat hit, but it's just not working for us!

Soooo, getting to the point, any other recommendations on liquids/vendors that are very smooth? We would prefer 18-36mg as anything less isn't controlling our cravings. I have ordered a half dozen other flavors from madvapes that haven't arrived yet in hopes that some of their other flavors are smooth as well and it's just a vendor thing? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for any help!

Welcome jjlee! TH comes from nicotine, hotter vape, PG and juice ingredients. I don't think Bloog is a hot vape and don't know about Bloog flavors, but FSUSA has a pepper thing that made my throat itch, so definitely wouldn't help your coughing. The best way to cut down TH is cutting nicotine and lowering PG percentage. It also depends on specific juice and how you vape. Don't hold the button too long as you've discovered and draw into mouth first before inhaling.

I don't care much about TH either. I vape 50-100% VG Dekang and 40% VG TastyVapor tobacco flavors and low nic juice. No coughing.

A 100% VG juice should be very mild. Like justa said most freedomsmokeusa juices seem to have an additive to artificially add throat hit even with their 100% vg juices. Unfortunately I cant really recommend a specific juice as I tend to seek out TH. Also you may want to try a higher resistence carto or atty as they may help lower the TH.

Thanks for the welcome! Before I decided to post I did my research and have spent many days several hours a day reading up etc on vaping in general. I know that the consensus is NIC = TH, PG = more TH than VG, and letting the vapor cool in your mouth can help as well. Still doesn't seem to matter much lol. My buddy is completely boggled by this. Especially that both of us seem to have this issue. I've smoked for 14 years and her for 1.5 btw. Never coughed from drawing on anything lol.

What flies in the face of this is like I mentioned above. I have a bottle of 6mg and 18mg Red Velvet Cake from Madvapes that I literally can't tell I've taken a draw from until I exhale. I can breathe it in a recklessly as I want and nothing but delicious Velvet cake. Which doesn't make sense to me as to why their 18 doesn't have any TH but the 15 or so other flavors I've tried from Bloog and FSUSA make us cough like a non smoker hitting a Cuban lol. It seems that Madvapes is pretty reputable so I'm assuming it is indeed 18mg and not 0 etc. Not sure what our prob is. Made sure to let the vape cool in our mouth etc incase heat is an issue.

Hmmm maybe it's just freedomsmokeusa then for the most part. The Bloog juice was just as harsh for us though. Well if anyone else has any recommendations for some juice that was just way too smooth for you let me know : )

jj, I'm not referring to Madvapes, who I have bought juice from, but vendors sometimes DO get the juice wrong, at least according to a thread earlier. I don't know who was the vendor, but they sent higher nic juice to someone than they ordered. It's one possibility and I hate it.

Some people also ARE sensitive to PG. And it depends on the juice maker. I've had PG juice that made me cough, but others are ok. Generally, PG did tickles my throat more, so I went with high VG.

Hmmm, gives me hope then. My buddy loves their juice so I don't think I'll have a prob trading it off. Shame if that's the case. I loved their customer service and would love to support them. Also a great site with soooooo many damn flavors lol. Anyway, thanks for your help : )

You might want to try Velvet Vapors. I find their juice to be very, very smooth. And I think you can tell them what ratio PG to VG you like.

I encourage you to try a couple of flavors from Virgin Vapor. She doesn't use any artificial sweeteners which is the biggest draw for me. All of the juices I've tried from her are very smooth and full of flavor, especially the Kona Coffee Milkshake.

Also, just a tip. When you vape, hold the vape in your mouth a few seconds before you inhale. That should help with the cough.

Just to give this thread a conclusion in case anyone runs across it in the future. My MadVapes order arrived today and it's a whole new ball game. I picked up 5 flavors, 4 at 18mg and 1 at 36mg and we can puff them all like it's going out of style. Obviously there's some additive in the FSUSA liquids to add TH or something. Looks like I have about 10 bottles of juice to trade off lol. Really looking forward to the Velvet Vapes and Vermillion River order to show up so I can see if they are vapable for us as well. Thanks for the help guys! So enjoyable now!
