Hi everyone,
Hope your all having a great weekend! Hopefully someone can help me figure out any good canadian or American reputable vendors for 18650 batteries for my arrow sense mod. Out of all the vendors listed in the battery thread, only one had the batteries I wanted, but it was in the US and would cost over $50 for shipping. Hoping to find shipping for $20-30 canadian instead. I am particularly interested in the batteries on the forums listed as tested by mooch in a stickier post. Or Sony battery with 2500 mah , I like to vape with two 18650 batteries at 60-80 watts.

Hi cloudy, thanks for responding. But how will I know they are the batteries advertised when I get them and not rewraps?

Some of the batteries you asked for come with authentication codes. For Example, EFest Batteries.

They are all reputable vendors. They sell ecig gear too, and most ecig gear has authentication codes on the items. These vendors have been in business a while and don't have reviews saying that they have sent or had returns for fake authentication codes. I highly doubt the bigger vendors like these ones are selling rewraps. They usually make their bulk of profits in other areas.

I’m also in Canada have used this company several times https://www.18650batterystore.com there also one of the recommended suppliers on here. They are in the U.S. but if you price compare there’s not a huge difference in pricing as they are much cheaper and sell quality products.

I'm Not Sure what IMRbattery charges to ship Batteries to Canada? But I seem to recall someone posting that it was Reasonable. You might check them out.

I have found illumn.com to be the best option. Shipping to Canada is abut $20 via the post office.

I've also ordered from Illumn a couple of times, and 18650BatteryStore once. I know that Illumn test their batteries when they get them and they have in the past discovered they received counterfeits. That can happen to any seller, but they won't know it unless they test the batteries themselves. I'm not as sure about 18650BatteryStore, but I trust them enough from what I've read about them to buy from them. Both had reasonable shipping charges to Canada in the past, but things are changing fast and it's been about 6 months since I've bought batteries.

I consider Dashvapes a reputable local supplier (Canvape also), but I doubt they test their batteries. If anyone knows different I would love to know that :)

hey I was wondering are these batteries legit from illumn? Mooch doesn’t mention them in his list of good batteries, and the CDr is very high. 18650 Molicel 2600mAh INR18650P26A 35A High Discharge Flat Top

That's a Molicel P26A, which is in Mooch's recommended lists. The discrepancy (25A vs. 35A) is because the 35A is a temperature-limited rating. As vapers don't have the technology to monitor a cell's internal temperature, Mooch doesn't count temperature limited CDRs. It's an excellent battery, but consider the CDR to be 25A, not 35A.

FWIW, I agree with what @Hawise said:

Also, I really do trust Illumn to find counterfeit batteries if they get some. IMO, rest easy that you have the batteries you think you do :)

wow that makes so much sense. It is so strange some companies put the incorrect CDr rating, that’s what tricked me ;D
