Any strong throat hit juice w/o Nicotine?

doots is right, you can increase your zero nic throat hit with PGA (Pure Grain Alcohol) and i recommend Everclear - works fantastic! any sort of grain alcohol would work as long as its flavorless (no fruity flavors or anything like that) and has a high proof/alcohol content like Everclear! hope that helps

How well does the PGA actually work? I've tried using vodka before and had no luck. Don't want to invest money in something if it isn't going to work as well as I'd hoped. Also don't really plan on drinking the stuff.

in my experience it works pretty good but you really need to be using something thats at least 180proof

Out of curiosity... if you vape a lot of the PGA, will it be the same as drinking it? I vape to vape, I drink to drink, I do not vape for the same effects of drinking, hence me wondering if using PGA in a vape gives you same effect.

Logically, I would think you would need to vape several ounces to get the same effect which is not a logical thing to do, but vaping versus drinking may be slightly different. I just wanted to be certain before trying this, as Everclear is not all that tasty and I don't want to get pulled over for a VWD offence (vaping while driving) :-0

In short, no. Mixed properly, you shouldn't be taking in any quantity of alcohol in the vapor to affect your sobriety. There could however be enough trace alcohol in your breath to trigger a breathalyzer after a night of vaping, alot like how some gum or coughdrops can.

I personally haven't tried cutting a DIY VG-base juice with alcohol yet, but I'll be happy to pass on my observations. That is once I'm able to put down Butter Rum and my own concoction of "Buttery Pancakes" long enough to try.

It should be an interesting experiment; I recall a cheap-drunk trick from my college days involving a q-tip and a shot of Everclear.

hahaha no, in order for alcohol to give you the drunk effect your body would have to metabolize the alcohol and dispersing the effects throughout your bloodstream (changing your blood alcohol content). so its unlikely you're going to get drunk or a DUI with vaping everclear - you should also keep in mind that you're not vaping 100% everclear, at most (and this is the very very most) your juice shouldnt even go beyond 30-35% PGA; at that amount your juice is probably too lose and isn't holding properly in the atty, although still vape'able.

when adding PGA to a juice mix most people start it off with 5drops and then adjust accordingly, so you're unlikely to even push your juice to 30% PGA! sometimes it'll happen because people use PGA to extract flavors but really its very unlikely that you'll ever reach an amount that will affect a breathalyzer.

keep in mind though that in many states having an open alcohol container (with or without it's contents) is illegal so i highly recommend that you never have the PGA on you - in the juice is fine but the originating bottle itself should stay home, check your state laws to be sure.

Halo juice is claiming to achieve throat hit with out using nic to get it but i havent heard of anyone trying thier 0nic. they are a new juice maker in usa. I do know that their 16mg new pure has a stronger thoat hit than their 24mg freedom but they are different flavors. also I havent tried many juices so have little frame of reference.

Just to throw out some hard numbers, recently I've cut out PG (irritates my lungs), and switched to 78% VG, 2% nicotine, 20% PGA.

If one were to vape an generous 5 mL/day of this stuff, 1 mL of alcohol would be vaped.

By comparison, a single 12 ounce beer at 4.2% alcohol by volume contains around 15 mL of alcohol.

Vaping a PGA containing liquid and being "drunk" from it is simply a non-issue.

Paranoyed, I threw out my $15 bottle of Atomic Fireball from Tasty Vapor because it literally filled my mouth with a strange substance and I didn't want it doing that to my lungs. Also, the OIL at the top of the bottle was a good one inch of solid yellow, it separates quickly from the red cinnamon juice after you shake it.... I wouldn't recommend vaping this stuff.

I have vaped nicotine liquid for testing and I understand what throat hit is. I have been able to duplicate it more than successfully with 0 nic using one (or both) of 100-proof vodka (or higher alcohol content) or the brine from a jar of pickled jalapeños. I imagine the effect is similar to walrus's pepper extract.
