So I just recieved my first e-cig (thesafecig.com) a few days ago and I'm already in love. I've smoked 1 cigarette since I recieved the e-smoke 3 days ago and it was really disgusting compared. I am very satisfied with the safe cig and have definitely made the transition to vaping :) I do have a few questions however.

1. What are the pros and cons of a manual battery vs an automatic one?

2. I am very interested and curious about refilling my own cartridges and I would love to be able to try a bunch of different e juices out. My only concern with the safe cig is that they do not sell blank cartomizers and so far in 3 full days I have yet to use one of these up, so it would be nice to find a blank cartomizer so i could fill with e-juice right away and not have the old taste still linger.

Does anyone know of a good product that is 2 parts and uses cartomizers instead of the 3 part system and comes with empty cartomizers???

3. Lastly, I just ordered a sample pack of e-juice from johnson creek. Does anyone have any suggestions for e-juice? I'm a little confused at the difference between PG, VG, PEC, and RY4 etc.

Thanks for the help!

Hi Mark and welcome! 1.) the manual battery lasts longer as you actually deploy it v.s. the automatic that deploys on a breath (when you tap the auto you can see it turn itself on, so radios, loud noises can set it off) flip side is if you put your manual against something, that could press it on as well like in my pocket etc....but I prefer the manual MUCH better!
2.) I'm not sure or familiar with the Safe Cig, and cartomizers etc, but search on here, I'm SURE there is something on that subject for you.
3.) the Juices are the fun part....it is ALL personal preference regarding juices, so sampling them is the fun part, I have used, vaperbomb, madvapes, and just ordered from ms. t's bakery, love vaperbomb as you can choose your blend of pg(more pg more throat hit) or VG (more vg, more vapor) pec?not sure andy RY4 i believe is a tobacco blended juice and I don't use those, love just the flavored juice, then you'll find your mg of nic that will be comfy for you.

I hope that helps a little bit, it is really a live and learn journey but so much fun to figure it all out! Have fun with it and you've come to the right place to learn! The vets here are AWESOME!

Check out this thread...

After trying many places, my favorite juice by far is Tasty Vapor.
But they don't have samplers.

If you want samplers to try a bunch of different flavors, I've tried a lot of those too.
So far, the best ones I have found are FreedomSmokeUSA.

RY4 is a flavor.

PG provides more throat hit and VG provides more vapor.
Over time, you will find the percentage of each that you prefer.

I like an 80/20 or 70/30 mix of PG/VG myself.
