Any tips on changing flavor through the same coil?

The issue is you have to remove the juice and replace it with a different flavor while keeping the coil wet. They used to make a plunger system that would do this for old style cartomizers (which took ages to prime so it was really useful). I don’t know if one for modern coil cartos though. The easiest thing to do is probably remove the coil with one juice and save it in a baggie, then put in a new coil and prime it with the new juice. The only other option is to simply put the new juice in and soldier through the weird combined flavor till it runs out

If it's the same type of flavors (ie: fruity to fruity) i usually just fill/drip and keep vaping.

Yes you'll have some remaining of the old flavor but usually goes away pretty quick in my experiences.
What if for example I have a pretty weak fruit flavor that doesn't give strong flavors, then put a very strongly flavored tobacco juice. Is it safe to say because of how much stronger of a flavor the tobacco juice i have is that it would overpower the weak fruity flavor after some time? I dont mind having to burn through the old juice but I don't want one flavor being in it permanently

Yes, generally. If the tank is basically empty before you fill the tank with the tobacco juice there is very little fruit left (just the stuff in the coil). It will get washed away by the other juice leaving tobacco flavor

Hmmm..... Can't say for sure, but imho i'd say yes you'll still have a bit of that older flavor in it (might be strong, might be weak never tried tobacco flavors so not really a pro in that regards).

Worst case scenario, you'll have a very strong tobacco flavor with a fruity after taste i'd say.

You pretty much understand the concept.

Very strong flavors such as cinnamon, mint, or menthol will overwhelm any other flavor. If using those, you'll have to remove that coil, clean the tank, and prime a new coil with the new flavor.

Ususally the only time I would find it a problem is switching from any non-menthol flavour to menthol, or it can taste pretty awful (to me anyway!). Otherwise like others have said the old flavour normally gets superceded by the new after a few draws
I find anything involving menthol to be awful. Menthol is not a normal flavor to begin with though so it’s going to last longer to begin with. In your position I personally would go with an “only for menthols” coil and save it just for that

One of the great advantages to using an RTA is the ability to simply remove the wick and put in a new wick and move on to the next flavor if one so desires.
Imho RTAs are better in all ways than cartridge coils , with the possible exception of longer wick life for some MTL configurations. The only barrier is people are afraid to learn how to twist wire. There is also a higher entrance fee of about $8 and a few tools are necessary that you probably already have. Are there fairly expensive tools sets that claim to be necessary? Yes. Are they ACTUALY necessary? No.

I go through 3-6 flavours a day.

My trick is to vape more. When you switch juices, if you keep vaping, eventually it'll stop tasting like the old ones.

I was PMing someone from here earlier, talking about that. Here's the calculation I did for coil cost... (7.5cm length of wire based on steam engine):

If you bought that 10 foot spool I linked, you theoretically could make 40 coils that I described above from it. People usually change coils every 1 to 3 weeks on an RDA, so it could last you 9 months to 2 years for $6 worth of coils.

When i did use drop in coils, i would run about 1/4-1/2 tank of unflavored juice between flavors. This clears the coil of the old flavor and gets it ready for a new one while keeping everything saturated so nothing gets burnt. The new flavor will be slightly weak for a few hits but starts getting to full strength quickly.

I dont use menthol vapes or cinnamon or anything. I tried a menthol vape once and it felt like I was brushing my teeth. I just stick to mostly tobaccos and fruity stuff. And rum flavors. Tobaccos are probably the most overpowering juice I use.

Yeah I don't actually use menthol either, just saying that's the flavour that will be the exception to the rule. I bought menthol juice once by accident not realising what it was and it was like vaping Listerine. I like dessert flavours like custard or fruity/desert ones (lemon merangue is a favourite recently). Ironically I don't have a sweet tooth at all for food or drinks, just with vape liquids!
