yea make sure you have bottles that are labeled well and are in a quart sized bag, as is standard for juices. Would recommend putting the ecig, without batteries in it (unless it is one that has a built in one) and set it so it can be inspected as it will be. Be up front with what it is, it's an ecig, and you shouldn't have any issues.

Had a friend recently come back with an ego with a vivi nova with liquid attached. He said the TSA looked at it, asked what it was, and then put it back.

Wipe down your ecig....

At the Airport on Hawaii's big island my Silver Bullet caused a false positive for explosives.
After another forum poster had the same issue a couple of days later, he said the TSA agent said it probably tested positive for glycerin. (duh!)

In my case the TSA agents hadn't seen en e-cig like a Silver Bullet, so they ran it through the xray machine again and I got the full pat down.

Put your e-liquids in a quart baggy and clean your e-cig and you'll be fine.

"Put your e-liquids in a quart baggy and clean your e-cig and you'll be fine. " Agreed. I had to do 6 flights in 7 days last month and my Lavatube never had any problems with the TSA. I was vaping on the plane and when someone asked and I told them what it was I just got a high five.

I would have never, EVER, considered vaping on a plane being allowed by any small stretch of the imagination, wow....

Though I was wondering (just a tiny bit) if it could be pulled of in the lavatory, lol...

You can vape on the plane and in the lavatory..

I vaped in my seat, but kept the ecig hidden in my fist, and always blew the vapor in a quick stream through my lips (that keeps it from fogging/creating smoke-like vape).

The last thing you need is someone screaming "Fire!!!" or "I see smoke!!!".. Some people would do that even if they immediately knew it was someone vaping just to create some drama.

Be CAREFUL about vaping on the plane, better safe than sorry.

You'll be fine if you follow the recommendations on the travel part of this forum.

Also, look into stealth vaping on youtube. Inhale your vapor, hold it, inhale again and hold it a little more, then blow out...you'll get little to no vapor with the same nicotine (if not better) absorption.

So they allow vaping on a plane? I always thought they outlawed that because of the BS second hand scare tactics.

Vaping on board has now been prohibited and an official ban is going to be announced in the spring. You could still stealth it, but being caught could catch you the same fine you'd get for smoking on board($5000 i believe?), or your device confiscated...

Suggest you bring your e-cig paraphernalia in your carry on bag. Yes, use the one quart zip lock plastic bag for both your e-liquid and batteries.
Would not suggest vaping on the airplane. Just not worth the hassle or fine if you happen across someone that may make a big scene because of your vapor.

Just went to Hawaii and had no problems what so ever with the TSA. They did not even blink when scanning my backpack.

Yep....

Most airlines have already banned it.

that said...I had an 8 hour flight on American.
I just stealth vaped (hold it for a few seconds then blow down hard) and had a KGO with a mini nova in my hand the whole flight.

No one even noticed.
If asked I would have played dumb and stopped though.
I didn't see anything about e-cigs in American's on board literature, but it IS in Southwest's.
