Hi there,

The reason I'm asking this is because i read somewhere today (i cant remember where) that its not legal to import, sell, or advertise e cigs in canada as of may(?) 2009.

So my question is: how hard is it for you to get your e-cig supplies across the border or to import them? I'm assuming its possible, just want to know if any one has hit any bumps along the route.

(on a side note, this might also explain the less than desirable wait times people have been experiencing with epuffer)

TIA
ames

If you were to get them from a store, you would pay WAYYYYYYY too much.

For vendors in Canada, electronic-cigz and/or happy vaper (both have subforums here) are absolutely fabulous, depending on what E-CIG model you want...and the price is great.

There were a couple of stores that sold ECIGS here, and they wanted around 100 dollars for a starter kit. That was one battery, one atomizer, a USB charger and 5 carts.

Read up on the subforums, and you will surely find something you like.

did buy a kit for 129.99 with 1 battery charger 110/usb and atomizer with 5 carts with nicotine. I asked a corner variety store to order this or look into it and this is what i got. He now sells kits and carts.with different flavors and strengths of nic. I did however order a extra battery , e-juice with nic. , injector and atomizer from a site in china using paypal. Was sent to me in 14 days. During the shipping I e-mailed them for a tracking #and they responded within hours with this # and showed where order was. Yes it made it threw both customs in china and 1 in vancover canada. Prices are very cheap when ordered online. Any other questions or info?

Personal EMS packages will make it through with no problems. Its still a risk though and no supplier will take responsibility for this naturally. With the recent judge ruling, i foresee this to be an even easier passage thru customs.

To be on the safe side, just get the supplier to remove all starter kit boxes and make it look like components instead. If there are totally no juices involved, then there is nothing to worry at all imo.

I've gotten business gifts (ecigs) through to some clients in Canada with no issues at all. They have since ordered by themselves and i;ve still not heard of any problems. The same should not be assumed for wholesale orders though. :)
