Hi all!

I'm a noob, been on this site a few weeks now. I still haven't decided which model to buy. I don't have much money, and $50-100 is a big investment to me, so I don't want to get something I will immediately want to replace.

I haven't been able to decide, because a lot of the information here seems to be out of date. There seem to be revisions to every piece of the e-cig. Cartos that no longer leak, or are ceramic. Attys with 4, 2, and 1 holes. Longer life batteries.

Much of the information here is a year old. In that year, the technology has evolved for sure. So what was the "best" super mini last year, may no longer be. And so many of you are into mods, that most recent discussion seems to focus on that category.

Is there any way to mark threads as "latest info" if its new, or "superceded info" if its old?

Or, is there a page somewhere that has the latest info already compiled, and I just haven't found it yet?

I've seen a list of models on an e-cig wiki page. That page would be really helpful if it was actually complete. But it doesn't really look like it is.

what's your take?

Tj

Hi TJ and welcome to the forums. You're correct in that some of the information is outdated due to the fast growth of e-cigs in general. As far as I know, there isn't anything "updated", "newest information" or "old information" section regarding e-cigs.

The only thing I can tell you, as a beginner, is to stick to e-cigs that have proven the test of time, i.e. the 901/510 starter kits with passthroughs, KR808's, SB, The Chuck, Glv, Saber Touch, or any other one that's been around. Then check them out.

It would also help if you knew what you wanted - what voltage, battery life, aesthetics, portability, durability, make one your self et all. What's your tolerance on the learning curve?

There is no hard and fast answer to your question except to research, research, research and ask questions.

Maybe one of the vets around here can chime in and give you more info. Hope this helps in starting you in the right direction.
