Please do your own homework.

Since when does this forum have homework?? I was kind of curious about the answer to this queston (and a little shocked by the reply) but I don't care enough to go search for the answer, guess I will flunk the test... or I could just sit beside someone kind enough to give me the answer (I thought that was what this forum was all about?)

well you can deduce from Switched's statement that 1. many pv's have pcb's. 2. that the high-end pv's that are in discussion here are really no better than just about any VV pv.
I totally disagree... not because i understand the pcb technology, but because i've used VV's... and I've used "regulated variable power" pv's... they cost more to build and the the vape is state of the art.

just want to point out that i don't disapprove of or argue that you can or cannot get a decent vape (by knowing your stuff) with less expensive devices; and at variable voltages.
IMO the $$$ for high-end pv's are for the pcb technology, topped with high grade materials, deign etc.

You CAN tailor less expensive pv's to match a certain voltage to atty resistance... i.e. VV's like Lil Sister, Big Brother, etc, including the Ali'i VV, .. or get an hv PV like the Silver Bullet or other stackable device and either use it 6 or 7 volts, or get a "regulator... like the "Terminator" that will channel the power to like 5v.... and make sure you batteries are fresh (or keep boosting up the voltage as the batt discharges), and choosing different attys (different Ohms) for different voltages.

Why are you getting in a huff??? The reply was directed at the person I quoted. So please refrain from quoting snippets of my posts out of context.

I am not in a huff, and this also isn’t a private conversation between 2 people, and I don't see how it is out of context. I was offended by that particular sentence so I quoted it. When you are answering a question in a post, you are answering it for not only the person that asked but every after that reads that posts and may want to know the same thing. 9/10 questions that are asked every day could be answered by searching the thousands of posts in various sub-forums. The wealth of knowledge in this community can be overwhelming on some of don’t have 10 hours a day to study everything there is to know about PV’s. Question are posted so that feedback can be given by various people with various levels of knowledge and experience, people can hear different aspects and opinions about what they are inquiring about, and to inform others who may be searching for similar answers.

I find the Canadian subforum very unique in that it contains the equivalent of many other sub forums, there are veterans, new members, people wanting to know about mods, different pv’s, different ways of using them, the latest things on the market, DIY tips, juice reviews, vendor reviews, etc. That is why I like coming here because it addresses so many different aspects of vaping. Yes it gets kind of tiresome answering the same questions to every new person that comes along, but I don’t mind it because the forum in itself is so diverse and I like helping people. You seem to be here to prove a point, not to help or answer questions. If you want to have a private conversation with someone, then pm them, otherwise I think you should respect the fact that there are many others reading these posts trying to learn from them. We all know that you have a lot to offer in regards to knowledge.

<<As stated I am glad folks have a need for this and I am cool with that. I am sure you will enjoy your acquisition. OTOH it has been abundantly clear that regardless what some more knowledgeable vapers will say you will have a counter argument, and I am cool with that to. I gave up arguing :)>>
