Hi...I am taking a trip within the US and was wondering if anyone had any problems with security with their ecig or juice. I want to take my 510 and a box mod along with juices. Please let me know of any experiences or heard of any. Thanks

I flew Continental Express last weekend and had no problems. I vaped my Blu discreetly at my seat with my head turned toward the window:2cool:

I checked my extra stuff in my luggage but carried some juice in my camera bag with no problems. I just took it out and put it in the bin like other liquids.

Have a safe trip! :)

I've had several trips to date and never an issue at TSA, and I've been stealth while vaping on the plane (lower head, vap, hold as long as possible, no vapper comes out), and no problem. Even the people next to me were cool about it, or did not know I was even vaping!
ALTHOUGH; on a recent trip to China (Air China) when they did the announcements; buckle-up, no smoking, etc, etc...they said no electronic cigarettes, too. That was a first for me that I heard that--I vaped anyway ;) No problem as I was careful about it.

Just like PT said, you will have no problem.

He and I have vaped in airports/airlines/and cities all across the globe with few to no problems. the most I have ever gotten was a question or two, and then told to have a nice day.

This includes getting through some of the toughest security in the world.... Kuwait, Iraq, Saudia Arabia, Pakistan, and Israel.

You have no worries....

Enjoy and fly safe!

I just got back from a trip to Florida, flying Southwest Airlines. I didn't have any problems with any of my e-cig accessories getting through security. I had most of my e-cig things like spare batteries, charger, etc. in my carry-on laptop bag, and the rest in my purse in a case, including 2 batteries, carts, and attys. No problems at all.

RIAFlight25,
I was wondering if you ran across any flts that said no e-cigs? My recent trip to China on Air China....stated "no smoking including electronic cigarettes" What do I do? is it a fine if I do? e-cigs are not classified so why would they say that ?

I had a flight about a month ago on a DL RJ to Atlanta and this is the first time I actually heard attendant state no e-cigs in the announcement. I went on and stealth vaped. But as RIA has stated attendants are getting more and more aware of these devices so be careful.

I'm heading to vegas from seattle in a ouple of weeks, hope I get through security okay. I'm always pulled aside from all of the metal parts inside of me. Hope it doesn't raise any flags I'd hate to lose my 510 and supplies.

Don't have the e-cigs in your pockets when you go through security, just have it in your carry-on and let them scan it.

Thanks music photographer that's helpful to know, what with security at seatac these days I hate flying. I fear losing my vape stuff more than anything.

Actually for the first time ever for me, had TSA in OKC pull out my Prodege and ask if it was a e-cig, told them yes and they said it must be a new model they have not seen it yet!
