Cupronickel (copper and nickel I assume). I bought some of this stuff (29awg).
$2.46 Cupronickel Resistance Wire for Rebuildable Atomizers - 29 AWG / 0.3mm*10m / 6.5ohm/m at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

It has a lower resistance that typical kanthal, so a 29awg wrap ends up with a final resistance more like a 24awg.

Works great. It is easy to work with as it is soft and holds its shape really well.
But, I notice that you can not dry burn it. The stuff seems to just disintegrate when it reaches red hot.

Anyone else ever try this? Do you know anything more about it? Did you like it?

Thanks,,, Cliff
