Anybody tried these aerotank clones

I'll have to see if I can find somewhere domestic that has them in stock. Pretty well burnt on fasttech at this point. 4-5 weeks for everything doesn't fit my particular "temperament"

I found one on ebay and ordered it at $10.50, should be here Fri. I'll report my findings. Can never have enough aerotanks.

anytime i've ordered a kanger knockoff from fasttech.. it hasnt been good...

random airholes differently punched on each one.. the wicks were crap.. and each one was a different size

interested to see how these are regardless though..

I like having several tanks for several different juices. I know I'd be better off with a "dripper" but have know idea how to use one

This fasttech clone might be good, might not. IMO just get the real thing it's worth every penny of $20: Kanger Aerotank - 101 Vape

101vape also has Protank 2's for $8.99 right now. (Drill out one of the airflow holes in the 510 connection to 1/16th and it vapes almost as good as an Aerotank!)

Yea and give it a couple more months.. the legit aerotank will prob come down to around 10$..

the kanger mega went from almost 40$ down to 28$ fairly quick too.. waiting til it gets to around 20-25 and I'll finally try that one out.

USPS is amzing sometimes, my clone aerotank came in today. The outer threads are of good quality, the box and everything are the same, you couldn't tell it from a real one, except I'm not sure the airflow control ring is quite as good and the max airflow may be a little lower.

It may be my imagination about the airflow would like to hear other opinions.

How do you know it's the same manufacturer as the one on Fast tech? The one linked to by the OP is getting good reviews there.


Anyway, you could probably get a genuine Kanger Airflow control base as a replacement and salvage what's left.

Heck I'd give you mine if you could get it off my batt. Cap connector. I think there juck and you can get just the aero bottom for around 10 bucks to put on your other krangers and a few other 510 hookups I've been told but can't take apart to find out lol

Ouch, having it stuck on the battery really stinks.

BTW, the aero bases are about only $4 most places online. I put them on all 3 of my PT2s and they really make a difference. I only use the PTs for citrus flavors.

I owe an update to this thread. I finally did a lot of trouble shooting the clone. It may have been coincidence but it was actually the threads of my VTR that were stripped after using the clone. Now I have an SVD and have absolutely no issues with it.

I believe possibly this clone has "stronger" threads than the original and I over tightened, there are other possibilities but the good news is there is hope. The price on ebay has gone up 25% so people must be liking them.

As far as the comment of this being a different clone than fastech's, I doubt it. Its hard to imagine two Chinese companies tooling up for clones and releasing at the exact same time.


I am still waiting on my batch of fastech's clone but I feel it is a low risk purchase at this point.

I just received the fastech clone today and someone above was right they come in just a little red box with a coils aready installed, the ebay clone was an exact duplicate with the same box and full plagiarism. The ebay clone has 510 thread issues I am convinced now after just receiving a nemesis (another clone), I believe the ebay clone lead to the demise of my VTR and the scary thing is you would never tell it from a real Kanger tank, at least fastech has different packaging. I have the fastech's drying after a dunk in alcohol to remove any machining oils, but I'll report my findings.

I tried two of the fastechs and the have no thread issues and vape fantastic, these are fabulous and a great bargain but a long wait to get them. I have a feeling these will be selling quickly. I was thinking those ebay clones are probably part of the reason kanger is coming out with a different aerotank (improved) I mean you would never tell they are rip offs until you open the package and try to thread them to your device, scary. But these fastech clones are wonderful, the box says T-Protank.
