So I bought an ipv4s and a herkles sub ohm tank and after about a week of constant vaping I changed the .6 ohm coil to the .2 ohm coil Monday night and since then it doesn't hit right anymore :/ after the switch I have to inhale extremely hard to get any kind of vapor and the flavor is all but gone and it's eating my juice at 2x the rate since then ( which ducks because it eats juice fast as hell anyway!) Can anyone help? I'm going to the shop I bought it from to see if they can help and get some .6 coils also!

Thanks in advance!

Are you vaping in TC control mode (nickel or titanium coils)?
If so, did you lock in the new resistance when the coil was cold?
If not, wait for it to be cool and press both the + and - at the same time on the 4s and you should be good to go. You might also want to raise the temp a little and or the joules.

I don't use the temperature control only watts i never screwed woth the joules and I tried that and it reads .21 but still acting up

Here's a post from a different four I posted in and it goes into more detail!

So I bought the herkles sub tank about a week ago and after vaping continuisly I changed the .6 ohm coil that the guy I bought it from put in it at the shop to the .2 ohm coil that came in the box and now my vape won't hit worth a crap anymore and I can't figure out why! I have to draw in HARD and longer than before and it puts out almost no vape production and almost no flavir and is extremely harsh to hit! I love this tank but I really don't know what happened  I'm going up to the shop after work today to see if they can help bit can anyone here help me?! Also I don't use temp control only the wattage settings I vape at about 32-35 but even at 50+ it's a harsh and extremely hot vape with only a slight improvement to flavor but not to production and it's eating my juice at 2x the normal rate (I can have a full tank last till I get home from a 10hr shift vaping it for a total of about 1 1/2 hours of chain vaping over my breaks and the ride home) but it's only 12pm and I had a full tank before I left at 5am this morning and it's almost empty! Can anyone help!?
Thanks in advance

If I remember correctly it says ni 200 or something like that and it looks the same as the .6 as far as I can tell? It came in the box with the extra glass and the tank I'm currently at work so I can't take it apart and don't have the box on me. It's just really irritating cause I'm using it to quit and it works but barley and it's almost empty and I'm low on juice cause I wasn't epecting it to go empty so freaking quick. I'm stopping buy the shop after work to buy .6 coils so I'll have them look at it!

Okay if it says ni200 indeed, those are intended for temperature control usage and not power (watt) usage as you do now.

Press the power button 5x to enter the menu.
Press once more so it says 'mode power' , press the + , display changes to ' mode joules'.

Press the fire button, select unit F or unit C by pressing + to select between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

Press fire to change to Temp, set to 200°C or 400°F.

Press fire to change to Coil Select and use + to set to Ni200.

Press fire once more and + to exit the menu.

Hold both +&- for it to set coil resistance

Now try vaping again.

Well at least you get to use all features of your 4s  TC vaping not that bad once you get the hang of it. I personally especially like it with RDAs as I tend to forget to drip on time when reading on ECF.

Wow the tc is a lot warmer vape than the watts haha but that fixed my issue now I don't have to implode a lung to hit it haha I think I'm a pick up some .6 watt coils though and use this as a back up :D thanks again for your help! I would have never figured that out haha

Ya fiddle around a bit with the temp setting to get to a pleasant vape temperature. The joules determine how fast it gets to that temp. ( of course if joules too low, it never gets there:) )
If you get your sweet spot , TC is remarkably consistent.

    +1
The reason that you bought a TC mod is so that you can set the vape temperature anywhere you want. So if it's too hot ... turn it down. :)
