So im close to pluging into tc and wanted to see what everyone else is doing for their dual coil nickel builds. I really enjoy rta's but im not sure how well they will do on temp control mods. I plan to pick up some tempered nickel wire from stealthvape to make coil building easier, but im not sure what gauges to get. Right now ive got a billow v2, subtank mini, and goblin v2, with a cthulhu on the way. Anyone building on these with nickel care to share your builds and tips?

30 ga and higher if you want to build dual coils in RTAs (at .1 or higher), and it's still going to be difficult to fit the coils. I'd strongly recommend that you use titanium (grade 1) if you want to use dual coils. 28 ga, or even 26, is fine. If your mod doesn't have ti-mode you just need to decrease the temp by about 80-100f compared to what you would use with a ni200 coil.

Which rta are you using? Whats the resistance? Should i even bother buying 26 gauage wire?

If you've got a large area to build in and the power to heat it up properly 26ga would be fine. My preference for most nickel builds is 28ga. It's not as flimsy as 30g, which I hate working with and doesn't take as many wraps or as much power to heat up as 26ga. I try to keep my builds in the .11 - .14 range using a DNA40. I've also recently tried twisting 30ga which I was never going to use otherwise and getting good results with that.
