Anyone drill out the air holes in a regular atty?

I have some Joye 510 atties that are a little too tight on the draw, and I am considering getting some metric drill bits to try to open up the air holes a little.

I've drilled out the air holes in a couple of Evods. With that modification I was able to up my watts to 15, where 9-10 had been the highest I could go without burnt taste earlier. Didn't notice much of a difference in draw though, but wasn't paying much attention to that. I haven't tried to drill out a 510 atty though, and I'm thinking that would be a more delicate procedure than with Ego air holes.

Found and tried a #60 drill, and worked it thru by hand. It's a little better, but not quite there, going to have to get a #59 & 58 to try.

It's been done. Avid Vaper even sells a hand drill to do it with. I tried it on an old 306 about a year ago but it didn't help it.
