Anyone else come from Snus/Dip/Chewing Tobacco or Dry snuff to E-Cigs?

So here's my story (short version)! I smoked for a few years then quit in 2005 with the nicotine patch, successfully I must add. In 2008, I picked up smoking again. I tried the patch but ultimately failed this time. So, I stumbled upon Swedish Snus (not that crap sold here in the US e.g. Camel, Marlboro) and became loyal to it. However, after the PACT was passed, shipping became an issue. I then waffled between Dip and Snus with the occasional dry snuff bump. I quit cigs again, but this time for dry snuff and dip. This went on for months. I am now 2 years out from smoking, but felt the need to give up all tobacco products. So for the past month I've been vaping. I like it much better than snus/dip/snuff and cigs. I am just curious as to how many other people came directly to e-cigs by way of smokeless tobacco, like i did? Even if you didn't or are considering doing so, i'd love to hear your response.

I quit smoking more than six years ago, but remained an occasional (maybe two cans a year) snus user.
Last year I noticed that when I used snus I didn't have the constant urge to snack every night, so I started
usung snus regularly and this helped me with weight control. The snus started to give me gum pain so I
Looked for an alternative and found vaping. I enjoy vaping in its own right, but happily it still helps me stay out of the refrigerator in the evenings.

Addicted to cigs from 1987 to 1991, quit when I couldn't breath due to an upper respiratory infection (and no healthcare.)

Addicted to cigs from 2002 to 2005, quit when they switched my medication and I had uber-discipline, until they put me on a new anti-seizure med that makes me lazy.

Addicted to cigs for a short while earlier this year, because a co-workers brother had chronic pulmonary disease from smoking and he brought me his brother's leftover cigs. Wow, thanks. Couldn't afford it so I switched to dip tobacco, Grizzly 1900 and then later Skoal Citrus. Tried cheapoid crap cig-look-alike, but stayed with dip. Then got some ego batts and cartos and now I only dip occasionally in the shower when I first wake up if I'm really really low on nicotine and need it. The shower only dipping changed me from long cut to pouches.

I vape 24mg, nearly chainvaping all day. But some dip can get me overbuzzed pretty quickly now.

Man, wouldn't mind some fresh Griz 1900, but I find the spitting so barbaric that I'll pass. Also, bummed some Cope Southern off a guy and it was really good. I dislike Skoal on general principles since most of their stuff, especially Xtra, is Kool-ade. But I dig the citrus.

Vape flavors, not tobacco at all, prefer mint and licorice. But I'm vaping DIY banana bread (banana and acetyl pyrazine), Mtn Dew, and Watermelon Peach (that I didn't let steep long enough.) Not sure if I'm going to stick with the DIY as the premixed blows my stuff away.

cope has the most delicious dips.
Straight, Original, Hickory Smoked, Whiskey Blend, it's all so good!
i'm not a fan of mint dip though...I threw up once when i was younger (13ish) with a lip of grizzly mint in and i can't dip any grizzly but 1900 or any mint dips...except Kodiak mint, that ....'s delicious

I was a big fan of General snus and V2 products. The thunder line was good, but very potent. I was nic'd up all the time 24/7 (which I didn't want to be). General white was less intense, but had a peppery , cigar like feel which was very tasty and pleasant. I would of stayed with Snus, but I used a tin every two days and with shipping the tins were nearly $6.00 a unit. So I moved to nasal snuff, which I still ocasional use. Poschls are great and so it Toque. However it is unconventional and messy sometimes. Although it stamps out any cig cravings fast. I used american dip as a last resort after Pact was passed and shipping became ridiculous. I like vaping, but I still really like swedish snus.

yeah 3 tins...i only packed horshoes (except my first lip around 6 am, i can't dip too much in the AM)
that got me about 9 lips, always, ALWAYS, had one in.
when i smoked i smoked with a dip in, just a social thing, not for my nic fix.
i was in the midst of other addictions while that was occurring so most days i'd wake up with a super dry mouth and dip still in my mouth.
i ended up buying brown pillowcases so you couldn't see my dip drool stains...
i'm only 18 and i've had skin grafted into my lip 2 times and i've had to get 4-5 strange growths in my lower lips removed.

smokeless tobacco is a terrible, terrible thing. i'm so glad i'm mostly past that. last week i bought a tin of copenhagen straight and i only now just finished it. i vape zero nic juice but i'm going to start mixing a little nicotine and cut out the dip entirely, i might try some WTA if it's too difficult.

Woswers, the way you did it it was. Though the mouth cancer thing with dip is, if I remember correctly, 8x more a chance with smoking than with dipping. I find this a little hard to believe, as would anyone who let some griz start giving their gums/cheek that texture it does.

I went from dipping a can per two days to 24mg, chainvaping about half the day, about 4 ml per day...I think. (maybe more like five or six...???)

yeah i went from 3 tins a day to 1 tin a day and 4ml of 12mg
then to 1 tin every 3-7 days and 18mg
then slowly cut down to 0mg with 1 tin a week
now i'm not dipping and vaping 11mg.
in a week i'm going to go 6mg, then 3, then back to 0 except for certain occassions (Stress, extra focus needed, super strong nic craving.

I am duel user. I started vaping but there was something missing. And was back sliding to smokes.
So when the local gas stations started to carry general snus I gave it a try.
It gave me what I was needing. I use 4 to 5 portions a day along with vapeing 24mg down from 36.

General original gets me started in the morning with a cup of coffee. This was the hardest smoke to give up with vaping alone.
So far smooth sailing.
