Im 32 and im a heavy smoker and i have smoked since i was 13 (Honestly)
Im married with 4 kids i have got asthma and no intention of giving up smoking but my chest is that bad i know im going to die before my kids grow up,
I bought a e-cig and completely stopped smoking the day it arrived
a while a go i got the patches from the doctors and ended putting them on ebay
the e-cig completely works

So glad you joined us here at ECF TerryA . I'm an ex smoker of 33yrs at 2pk/day and I never thought I'd be able to get off of them. vaping has made it all possible. I've been smoke free for a little over a year and feel great. I'm happy you have found the same to be true for you. It is possible with vaping! Good Luck and Happy vaping!

Not a day goes by on this forum without multiple success stories about quiting smoking with PVs. People don't make this stuff up, there's no motivation to fabricate, just folks sharing their joy at breaking a bad habit and enjoying the benefits ...

Wouldn't you think that at least SOME politicians and bureaucrats would take heed of anecdotal evidence in such overwhelming volume, and investigate further before issuing bans and restrictions based on media misinformation ?

In any event, congratulations to all who left tobacco behind, and that includes me ! :D

between here and there
Welcome to ecf.

Glad to have you here.
You know, when you think about it, what are you really giving up? Tar,smelling like an ashtray, not being able to smell or taste food? Yes, I know its not as convenient as running down to the corner store buying a pack and lighting one, but that's a minor adjustment if you ask me.

Good luck in your journey.

:)
