newb question...where is the firing pin on the woodvile?

The Woodvil doesn't have a firing pin. It's wired to the battery connectors, the on/off switch, the fire button, and the atty connector. Firing pins are featured on the Grands and Minis. Because the bodies are aluminum and can function as the ground, Rob designed a firing pin to connect the atty connector to the positive pole of the battery when the button is depressed. Hence, they are all mechanical mods.

I hope that helps.

Why the hyper about Vaseline?

I heard all opinions about noalox.

Has anyone tried Vaseline in Reoville ?

Facts:

- The truth is that for me has resulted, and never had misfires.... thing I had before using it.

- Imeo also recommends the use of Vaseline on the GG battery contacts.

- Of course, Vaseline will not ruin my REO.

- And finally, I dont have Noalox, so I'm going to order some, as son i can do, but not as arrangement, I am very pleased with Vaseline.

:p

Hi, don't know if this helps you or not but the GG site here sells a Cleaning & Maintenance Kit as an extra and it has noalox in it :)

I sometimes experience a drop in th and flavor which I combat with a dab of noalox on the pin, worx like a charm every time. of course there is always some on there, but somehow it just worx better with a new dab. of course, if you don't experience this then there is no reason to do so!

I have not had to use it on any of my REO's but then again, I've only had any of them since January...maybe it's time to clean an use? I do know that all the juice drippings have kept my doors from being rattly...hate to clean and have rattly again....LOL

I'm with ya buddy, once you put some on there you have to clean it more often.
Its sticky stuff and it makes pocket lint and other stuff stick right were you don't want it :(

When I get a new REO from Rob the first thing I do is clean off all the noalox .... (sorry Rob but it works for me without)
Got my first Grand in October of last year .... used every day .... never seen noalox.
