I just started vaping 12 days ago (analog free 2 weeks on Friday) and started off with a V4L kit (8081-D Auto) and got a couple of assortments of carts to see what they were all like. Anyhow the carts seem to be really variable in terms of how much use I get out of them before they start to taste like ... or fail to produce any vapor.

I'm switching to juice/refilling (hopefully my bottles arrive tomorrow so I can stay off analogs) but I'm concerned if the issue is hardware (the cart themselves) or software (random amounts of juice going in to the carts or the quality of the juice) since I'm going to be refilling the carts I got with my initial order.

So what input do you users have? I'm really trying to economize here as well as do something less harmful than cigarette smoking, so I jus plain can't afford a lot of experimenting in juice providers or buying blanks.

1. There are at least 2 kinds of cartos they use - the two blank types they sell: WOW carts (lower resistance = runs hotter) and Coolcarts (somewhat higher resistance and runs cooler)

2. They have at least 2 kinds of juices and one of them is WOW juice. The WOW prefilled carts are filled with WOW juice but are not necessarily WOW cart blanks. I think the WOW juice has more VG in it - it seems to make more vapor.

I like the Coolcarts better as carts and the WOW juices better as juices. I also use juices from other places and refill the cartos with them (usually 70/30 juices from Backwoods Brew and FreedomSmokeUSA)

3. You can get a V4L carto that is just a low performer. This can sometimes be helped by gently lifting the central circle of the threaded end (evenly and gently - just a bit) - that can improve the carto's airflow. I fixed two that way - one seemingly dead one and one poor performer.

I really like the v4l cartos, they are some of the best cartos around imo. Once they start to perform poorly you can pull out the filler material and drip on them for another day or 2 ( vapor production and flavor is actually better than a new carto lol)

V4L cartos gets an A+
V4L juice gets an F

I would buy v4l blank cartos and some good pg based juice from a different supplier and fill your own cartos. You can do a little research and decide where to get your juice from.
