No leaks or gurgle on the Mini PT-II but it is a airy draw. Covering one or two holes in the eGo ring fixes that though. My biggest complaint is burnt taste if i vape even slightly too fast. Mostly its with 50/50 juice. 70PG/30VG wicks much better but still need a "primer" draw if im vaping fast.

My PT-II though did go through a period of working fine then leaking and gurgles. Plus occasionally burnt taste with 50/50. Its been fine since the last cleaning and coil but i don't use it much anymore unless im in the mood for menthol. For some reason menthol and mint type juices taste a little better to me in the PTs.

ATM i prefer a carto, either alone or in a tank. It was a rough start but now i got them working great.

This is almost my exact experience with the PTII. Nothing really tastes OK in it except menthols. Everything else seems to burn up like crazy, even on the first hit. I always prime and drip my heads too.

The strange part is that the T3S and even the MT3S (metal cover not mini) almost never give me a burnt taste. Same ohms, same mod settings and same juice. Plus not one has leaked yet. The condensation in the clear tip just looks kinda funky so i wipe it out with a Qtip or pipe cleaner.

Nearly every fruit or desert flavor ive tried tastes better to me in the T3S also. Those taste muted to me in the PTs. The only one that is somewhat ok is Banana Nut Bread in the Mini PT-II but its not even close to a carto in flavor. Its a very flavorful juice and vapes "ok" in everything ive tried. The PTs just fall short on the slightly subtle "finish" of this flavor and all the other tanks i can still taste it.

I put it down to juice. Different juices perform better than others. Even if they are made with the same base liquid/s. I'm using a juice called "banana nut bread which i use daily and everytime i get a new bottle the colour is always different. IMG_0234.jpg I've had both these for weeks and the colour hasn't changed from steeping either.

If my protank gives me a dry hit i know it's because i didn't suck hard enough. There's nothing casual about the way i vape. Got to hit it hard !.

I have 2 of them. Both of them gurgle when the juice level gets low. In one instance I had a drop of hot juice hit the tip of my tongue. Both of them seem to usually produce a dry, harshish vape for me with any juice I try in them. I get much smoother vapes with a Vivi Nova and the new IGO-S RDA I received this weekend (I love this thing). I am using a Provari mini, so with the Protanks I get what I am assuming was an unintended feature of being able to adjust the air flow depending on how tightly I screw it on. So far I have not tried one that I have recoiled myself, but I just got some wick and wire this weekend, so I will probably give that a go this coming weekend when I can have a good chunk of time.

I'd say its good travelling in pocket as it won't spill juice, if using high nic tobacco type juice it works well enough and has good capacity, but the coil heads themselves are primitive, the design still requires no res legs to function properly, and the coils I've used so far are made to expire fairly quickly, although a buck or so for a new genuine head makes up for it for now.

I just ordered a protank mini 2 hoping this will be better than my ce4s reading here i may of made another noob mistake its all a learning curve this vaping and my misakes are starting to cost fingers crossed it works for me

I jumped on the protank 2 band wagon and love mine. I also love the mini 2 I just got. I love the flavor I get from pyrex. Hope you like yours too! There are no "mistakes", only learning experiences and preferences :)

Maybe not!! I've been using the PT II's for about 10 days now and really like them a lot over the ce4's and the Iclear 16's. To each his own said the lady as she kissed the cow. I hope it's your kinda cow!!

I do like them more that the iClear16s. The i16s taste burnt to me too with the i16 coil. It was much better with the i30 coil except it was like trying to suck ice cream through a straw. Milkshake tight if fine but the two i tried were crazy tight draws. I gave them away and then modded my i30 coils by opening up the hole in the white cap over the wicks. Draw is still stiff but it seems to be an improvement.

Personally for a cheap tank i strongly prefer the T3S over either PT or iClears without tinkering. The only thing i check on the T3S is the vent holes. Occasionally the machining is not consistent and a hole/s is too small. Ive got a small drill bit set with a hex heads. It takes only a few seconds to clean up the holes by hand. I use the same type of bits to open up the white wick cone in the iClear30.

Ive got some of the original Evod shorter coils to use in my PTs and they do help with the airy draw but i still cant fix the burnt taste to fit my vaping style. I don't vape menthol nearly as fast so they work ok for me with that flavor.
