Anyone else not like fruit/sweet flavors entirely?

With my first juice order I decided to get some sweet flavors, but they're just not clicking with me. I really want a heavy menthol or tobacco flavor instead. the fruity/sweet flavors just don't sit with me. I want something harsh and even though I get a decent TH, they just don't seem right for my tastes, y'know?

anyone else feel this way?

I wanted only tobacco, and after more than a year I still prefer a mild flavorful tobacco. I think that when people start with the idea of quitting smoking 100% from the beginning most preferred to stay with tobacco, although most "cigarette" taste is not easily duplicated. For instance Marlboros, or Newports, etc.
I was also very concious of the fact that some exotic flavors may contain ingredients that may be irritating to my asthma and bronchitis symptoms, which had been very prevalent while I smoked....that's the main reason I wanted to quit 100% from day one. The simpler the juice the better for me.
I now mix my own juice from scratch, with flavor from real tobacco absolute, with a touch of caramel. Sometimes I leave out the caramel. So at the most there are only 4 ingredients in my juice, Vegetable Glycerin, nicotine, and tobacco + caramel for flavor.

i don't like the fruit flavors at all. But I do like the sweet flavors, along with mint and menthol.

Seconded this. When I first started I got cafe macchiato for myself and blueberry for the wife; turns out she's unable to vape. So I tried the blueberry and that was a big no-go. Got the Vapor Country sampler pack and couldn't stand the fruits. Only exception was banana - I mix that with cream and sometimes add it to RY4. RY4, cafe macchiato, then menthol and clove are my flavors (all of them cut 50% with VG).

i personally like fruit/sweet flavors,

when i started i wanted something that could taste like analogs, but couldnt find any, so i just bought liquid with flavor, like cherry or honeydew, got hooked totally, especially on cherry, the taste is spot on (using the eGO) & the vapor always smells like cake

good thing is, once ur used to fruit/sweet flavor, u just cant stand the taste or even smell of analogs anymore, i still smoke analogs once or twice a month (whenever im out of stock), but i usually just smoke half a stick and throw it away cause i cant stand the taste as much anymore now.

anyway, just my personal experience, different people experience different things =)

I have only been vaping since June 1 and so far I haven't cared much at all for the fruit or dessert flavors even though alot of people on here seem to indicate that you will soon learn to hate the tabacco flavor.

Until recently, I hadn't found a decent tabacco till I ordered some prefilled carto's from CigTechs that were filled with Flu Cured tabacco. First I thought they were kinda stong and wierd but then I grew to love love love it. I only have one left and I am trying to save it till I can get more. Yesterday I tried RY4 from Vapor Station and it is nearly as good and will work till I get some more Flu Cured.

Anyone know what brand of Juice Cigtechs puts in the prefilled carts ? They have Rath on the site but I didn't see any Flu Cured offered. Do other Flu Cured taste as good ?

I had thought about mixing some of the sweet and fruity stuff with tabacco. I think that might be pretty good. I don't seem to mind sweet tabacco. Does this work well ? I would like to vape a good Cherry Pipe Tabacco. Cherry + Flu Cured ?

BTW, Some of the coffees havent been bad either. Cafe Sumatra from VS seemed pretty good. I will be revisting that one when I'm ready for a break from RY4.

I ordered a bunch of sweet flavors and not really "digging them" Though I will say the alcohol accented ones - (butter rum, irish cream etc...)... Those I'm starting to enjoy. But I always mix them with tbacco flavor. For me anyways having that base tobacco flavor as a foundation makes a world of difference. I have some Banana Foster -yeah its not bad but give it a tobacco base and it takes on a new (better) flavor. I hear what you are saying and I agree - but I will tell you this as time goes on the sweet flavors (for me anyways) aren't as bad as I originally thought. Maybe aging has something to do with it - who knows ?

I have been stuck on tobacco flavors since I started vaping. I've tried many sweet flavors that I like, but can't stand to vape any of them all day long. It's always back to tobacco.

Lately I've come to really enjoy Backwoods Applewood Tobacco, which adds just a little sweetness to the tobacco flavor. Great all-day vape.
