i've been shopping around, looking for the best prices for oe joye attys and tanks, i'd like to have a few spares for just in case... anyone else found anything with a good price?

The LR type B atty's are only $10. Even though they say "no warranty" I've bought three of them. Two are still going fine after over a year. The one that burned out lasted about a year with about 50% sharing with another one.
