When it comes to people I know - I'm the vapor ambassador..... I'll whip my DSE out and show everyone - tell everyone - suggest websites, share experiences, ect....

But when it comes to people I DON'T know, or places that have the no smoking signs up, I'm the biggest wuss in the world...

I do vape in the car on my commute, haven't noticed any weird stares from other motorists, but I drive into the sun both ways, have to deal with idiots who DON'T know how to drive in Wisconsin weather (sorry, road rage alert:rolleyes:) and don't watch the other drivers, just their vehicles.

My Wife works for Mall Managment I'm not saying which mall. The other day she was talking to one of their security officers, who she used to go out and have a smoke with. My Wife was telling her about the E-Cig. They were in the mall and my wife showed it to her and asked her if she wanted to try it. My wife put a fresh cart on it and handed it over, the Officer took a drag on it and totally freaked out, worrying she was going to get busted or fired from her job for smoking in the Mall. My wife who is technically her boss couldn't stop laughing. she said she finally was able to stop laughing long enough to reassure her that she was not smoking, that it was just vapor. Man I wish I could have been there to see that one. :D

Hey mate Im in Brisbane, where I think vaping is unheard of. I've just ordered a DSE901. Would love to hear of peoples reactions to vaping in no-smoking areas like pubs and bars in Australia.

Does anyone have a card or something with a simple explanation to print out?

Awww steve, but i bet you looked mighty cute while doing the demo though mate ;) Lol

You can't buy them in Australia? Sell them in Australia? Or use them in Australia? Now I am confused.

I have been freely vaping in the lunchroom at work. Since all my co-workers know about it, it is no big deal. I have done the occasional sneak while shopping, but like I said it was a sneak. I wasn't blatant about it. I did the old turn my head hide the light and held it in a little longer for minimal visual. I am of course happy to share this technology with anyone who will listen and therefor I demonstrate it frequently.

Oh no I think you should have gotten the screwdriver and just blown the place apart with power vape. LOL

I vape whenever and where ever I feel like it. I'm not in the least bit shy, and don't mind talking about it and answering all the questions I get. I even refere people to this site and some of the merchants.

DITTO!!!! I'm not shy about it either and love to help and show people a better way. I wish I got paid for it.

You can't buy or sell them in Australia. There arn't any laws against using them though.

I want to use it at my local bar and places like cafe's here in Brisbane.. no idea of the reaction I'm going to get!!

Me too..I don't mind all the questions if they have the nerve to say anything at all..I get crazy looks and smiles. I hear people saying :Thats a new electronic cigarette..People who ask me because they want one I tell them about this forum and website suppliers. This past weekend I vaped all over the Tangers outlet.
Lunch at a restaurant with my friends.
My salon gets a big kick out me using it and they actually like the smell of my flavored liquids vapor...especially strawberry.. Everyone has been so nice about it all I have never had anyone tell me to stop.Maybe because I mostly use my black one's in public. That will change once i get my evo to work with the new atomizer.

but... IT'S NOT ILLEGAL, THUS I DO HAVE THE F00KIN RIGHT TO USE MY VAPORIZER WHEREVER I WANT! At least here in my country, where public places are regulated by law and not by a random security guard.

ever see the signs saying management has the right to refuse service to anyone? you are in a privately owned establishment, they have every right to say what you can and cant do in there. What about stores that say no food or drink allowed in the store? eating and drinking is not illegal, but you dont have the right to do them in that store, because they said you cant.

We have a business sized card that we hand out when people buy our product that explains e-smoking, that seems to make people feel more confident about it. When I do it when I'm out, the response is almost always amazement. A few places have made me stop, simply because other customers didn't understand and they didn't want to upset them. Most of the time they are simply blown away and want to know where they can get their own.

I also have used it on an airplane and had full approval. The TSA has actually reviewed and approved our product. The actual approval to do it on a plane has to come from the flight crew. It's all about how you do it... if you're making a scene or annoying people around you with excessive vapor, they will ask you to stop. If you keep it discreet, I've found them to be pretty cool about it.

In 10 years, it will be...."Do you have some juice? I'm jones'ing for some high dense, brah!"

LOL, Yo brah lemme bumb a drop or two. So true, if people as a whole are as smart as I hope they are maybe it will be like that in the future..

I haven't done it in a non-smoking area yet, but I figure that if I figure the person is disapproving of it, maybe I'll just say it's for asthma and hope they leave me alone.

LOL thas epic, that is the absolute best excuse and thank you. I am going to use that at every public place I go to!

So, I'll usually pull it out in a smoking area here on campus. I guess I give off a smoking vibe (been a pack-a-day smoker for a few years), and people end up sitting all around me. Then when I get the question, "can I bum a smoke?" or "got a light?" I explain to them that it's not a real cigarette. Before I usually get a chance to explain what I mean, some people will get up, give me the worst glare, and just storm off, haha.

finally vaped in a store yesterday (one of the local grocery stores). I gotta say, it was so nice to be able to do so. For the first time in years (ever since grocery stores banned smoking here) I was able to enjoy grocery shopping. I was still fairly discrete (didnt vape while in line at checkout and didnt do it in front of employees nor while other patrons were approaching me) but did vape while others customers were in same area. Used a black 901 with blue led.

I'm a PC tech at an HMO and I'll work in my "cube" sucking steam. I've had discussions with the lead tech and pulled out my minifogger (black/blue LED) without thinking and started vaping as I'm talking. Nobody has said Boo to me or even acknowledged my actions.
The few that show interest are looking into E-Cigs for themselves or family/friends. I've vaped (discreetly) in a few restaurants with no problems.
I'm not planning on any "Hey look at me" vapes anywhere that isn't appropriate like hospitals, the line at the bank..church.
