I get teased all the time but I feel so much better than when I smoked. In a couple of years it will be much more popular. Just keep on vaping cuz ur saving your life bro! Good luck and stay strong!!!!

Hi Gatso and welcome to ECF from another Aussie. I get a few comments in the office about my "adult toy" when my Provari is sitting there on my desk....LOL. Apart from that not too much flak at all from work people or friends. The most slack I and my wife have been given is from some family members who think it is a waste of time and that we are "still smoking"
Each to their own. I know I am healthier anyway.
Where abouts in Sydney are you based? I am in the Blue Mountains, although when I can be bothered going into the office I work in North Sydney.

They are not illegal, although I am sure that our "wonderful & concerned" government would love them to be. That way we can keep on smoking and giving them our hard earned tax dollars.......
We do have domestic vendors who supply the standard range of kit, batteries, attys, etc as well as concentrated flavours and 0 nic flavour doublers for mixing with your own nic juice. So basically we can buy pretty much everything here locally, apart from large battery mods and nic juice. Mods we source from the States and then nic juice either flavoured or unflavoured from China or the US.
i used to get teased a bit... ok a lot! till one day it was pouring down rain (as it does sometimes in Seattle

Yes. I think we guys have a slightly different tradition of razzing each other.... learned in kindergarten.....and never forgotten. lol.
As for me... I haven't gotten any crap.. but hey... I smoked the cancer sticks for 30 years. There's not much any of those ".... heads" could say.

Knowing me, I would turn around and say, "Yep, decided I didn't want to die with lung cancer, but go on and continue to smoke those cancer sticks, and let me know what kind of flowers you want at your funerals." (Bad, Saints.....bad, bad, bad!) Then I would probably say something like....."Yep, no more coughing up a lung before breakfast, no wheezing when I go to bed, my lung capacity is growing....but, go ahead and make fun." Then smile like the cat who ate the canary and walk off.

Never, in fact I get the opposite. Smokers all want to know where to get one and non-smokers think they are great and also want to know where to get one for a smoking family member/friend. Some ex-smokers get a little huffy and tell me I am still smoking, etc but I think they are a touch jealous because I didn't suffer when I quit the smokes.
Yeah we'll all get the last laugh cause we'll be the only ones alive!!!
I live in the high desert of Arizona. I'm usually packing a sidearm. Nobody has ever teased me about my e-cig. Australia outlawed guns for it's citizens. The result of that is teasing is an epidemic.
I have found that carrying a gun usually stops people from teasing me. That along the occasional facial tic and giving them the 'crazy eyes' now and them makes them think really hard about it ...
Never teased yet, just people that are curious or congratulate me on not smoking, or they are simply amazed at the gadjet! Reo, Ali'i or Provari.
I got teased a couple times when I first started. "Pretend cigerette" "Toy" that sort of thing. Then my lung capacity started getting better, coughing went away, and no allergies at all.... Now all I get is questions! "Does that really work?" "Man, I gotta try that."
Ok, so I don't tell them I'm vaping Snickerdoodle... But I've converted a ton of people at work to e-cigs!
Maybe a little challenge is order. Get them to try and see if they're "Man enough" to vape. heh.
Edit: Course you could always get a big brass tube mod and tell them you're going to blow them to hell if they --- with you.

Get a GLV,its the perfect size to curl up in your fist and pop them in the nose.
