Anyone else the target of teasing??

i vape openly where ever i feel i need to..not showing my gadget as a toy but an alternative to analog..when i vape and some1 show any interest i would tell them the benefit of e-cig and even ask them to have a go on my spare one(i always carry 2 in case i run out of battery power)..Malaysia's analogs relatively cheap(from just over $3 to less than $1 a pack of 20) but its my aim to point out the benefit of e-cig"health issues" rather than the saving on e-cig..logically the "health issues" is a win situation to convince smokers to change & will ask them to look up "e-cig forums" for A-Z information.
after 30 years on analogs,i have endured teasing from non-smokers for yearssss..they are right to teased me(if only i can give up but alas i cant..no alternative to analog that works for me,until now..e-cig is my saviour!)..happily vaping as from now & loving it..if any smoker tease me on vaping..i will have the last laugh

Do you suppose he tried some of the things that were suggested and they worked? Or perhaps they didn’t work and now he is hanging from a pole by his underwear?

I don't know too many people who have ever been hung from a pole who were carrying a 1911.

Pretty funny that the work crew made fun but almost all the smokers that joked, later on expressed genuine interest in trying it too, and gave grudging approval now that they've seen me off smokes for such a long time.
That's what we need, a Pistolizer mod. Imagine the looks you would get when you stick the barrell in your mouth and pull the trigger to activate the atty, then blow out a nice cloud of your favorite ejuice.
i live in canada...when my smoker friends bug me about my "toy smoke" i remind them i won't be the one smoking outside when it hits -40...that usually shuts them up lol

The key is if vaping works for you then to Hell with everyone else. Saving money and feeling better far out weigh some of the BS you might have to endure from some of your "friends".
And don't forget about the Nut Kicking thing when all else fails. People tend to forget all about e-cigarettes when they are Laying on the ground Writhing in Agony.
The same idiots who tease individuals who use ecigs, are going to look the other way when they go to ban or tax them. Unfortunately, most of the time when something good and beneficial arises...the masses don't like it. Why? Because the masses are a, "bewildered herd," as Chomsky would put it. Take pride in knowing you are an open minded individual who doesn't follow the common thought process and pity the ignorant. They can't help themselves...all they can think about is grazing.
A little at work, but more often people are curious and wonder if it really works.
Say something like, "Get used to it! I'll be puffing at it during your funeral! Those things will kill ya!" Haha!
I got teased a bit in the beginning with my Joye 510, it looked liked I was smoking a pen, then my eGo which looked like a plastic cigar, and now my Reo Woodvil people think I'm smoking a detonator
As the weeks went by and I still hadn't gone back to smoking, suddenly people are changing their tune and asking a lot more questions about vaping.

They're not the norm in Washington, but honestly non-smokers are quite supportive of them. I tease myself a little bit, making it clear that opted for electric fags over flaming fags.
I've told somebody this before hahaha! Anyway, load a good 24mg or 36mg nic juice and convince them to take a puff. I always have a good laugh when smoker friends immediately cough out the vapor when they arent used to e-cigs worse loaded with a good throat hit juice.
PVs are a little more common in California, but the same thing happens, especially around the classic "smoke-spots" everyone frequents. Usually the teasing and ribbing stops after some time, especially after you counter with some lung cancer jokes and laugh at everyone for not being able to plug their cigarettes into a USB port.
