It must be the fact that I am still awake at 5:13 am but I am going to be perfectly honest. I vape anywhere I feel like vaping - hospitals, doctor's offices, restaurants, airports, airplanes, and on and on and on. I am discreet, it hurts no one, and not one negative word has ever been said if anyone even noticed. Now, I am not a huge cloud vaper, so that does make discretion easier to achieve. I have now admitted my deepest secret.

I do not need to vape in the bathroom at work, I have a private office (thankfully) and no one really cares. As far as single use bathrooms, I really try not to hang around in them for much longer than I must. I'll admit I've vaped at Walmart but not my favorite one, I don't want to be banned there. It's just... the one my kiddo wants to shop at sucks so Hard (I was surprised to see the varying offerings at different Walmarts across town) and my son takes So Long to choose (while I applaud his frugality and willingness to check the "price per unit" ---a secret my dad, also a lengthy shopper, shared with me and I passed along) but the Kiddo is Still New. I have also vaped on airplanes, but I do not do that anymore, thanks to a tragic experience on SW airlines, which truly made me realize that up in the air and in airports, stewards/esses are the Kings, and the transit police the reluctant enforcers, LOL. That is one thing I will buy nic lozenges for, and use them happily...

I have vaped in single use bathrooms in the past, but it really kind of grosses me out now, I'd rather just stealth vape as I'm shopping. I don't do it in restaurants either, but that's more a desire to not let the flavor in my vape impact other eaters. I would vape in a bar, (via stealth) were I to frequent them much, anymore.

One good thing about Tucson is that mostly (except for the month of August in particular) it's easy enough to go outside. My sister (the quitter) once commented to me as I was shivering outside in freezing weather, while smoking, "Man, I could NEVER do that, how can you not quit?" LOL.
She must have forgotten that it was hard for her to quit. My answer was, "See, that's why you are a quitter and I'm not...." :)

The only place in that list of places you vape discretely that I don't think you should is a restaurant. Depending on the restaurant, people go there to enjoy their dining experience, which includes smelling and tasting their food. Sorry, that is just one of a select few places that I feel is a hard no vape zone. But I am sure the sneaky stealth vape is cool as long as no one sees or smells it (in a dining facility). Now for me also, it depends on where. If you are vaping at a McD's.. I couldn't care any less because I don't eat there, and if I did, it is probably not for the fine dining experience. I was dining at a $300 a person chef's experience dinner for our anniversary and since it was a pretty private affair with about 15 people sitting around a chef cooking our meal. A guy asked if it was ok to vape if everyone was ok with it. The Chef said he is a vaper as well, but it would be a shame to ruin the ambiance and the atmosphere of the dinner he is slaving over for us to vape in the dining room. But he was very welcome to grab his wine and take a few hits out in the front patio. In fact, in between courses where his sous chef was cooking, the chef was out there with the guy, my wife and me taking a couple vapes. He didn't have his so he bummed a hit off all of ours.

But..... to be back on topic, I don't vape in the work bathroom. I do not work for Nazis, and they treat us like grown ups. If I want to go outside for a couple minutes for a vape, I am more than welcome to.

Dark restaurants in back booths = perfect for sneaking a quick puff. It is vape, not smoke. :) That said, in situations where vaping would make anyone uncomfortable, I don't do it. I live in Virginia, which is an open carry state for firearms. I resent that and vape in protest. If they can open carry their firearms, I can vape. JMHO

To me it is not necessarily vape being equal to smoke. The smell can linger and ruin someone else's dining experience. McD's is ok... but no vaping at Mastros.

One good thing about Tucson is that mostly (except for the months of April through November when you need to be clothed in a NASA approved spacesuit in order to survive) it's easy enough to go outside.

:lol::lol:. I think my internal thermostat got set in middle school when I was living in Sydney though I'm half good old Aussie convict stock, so some of it may be genetic. LOL. Although, THIS August was a bit hard to take, but I say that every year. I feel really bad for the husband, he's a sweater, and I'm.... not. I actually prefer over 100 to under 40 degrees.

I will say when I moved here from the East Coast that first year, I was like in December, "Why are all these freaks wearing COATS?" Now I am one of those freaks. At least it's a super cool coat :) I always look forward to wearing it.....
