Anyone else wish they could move to North Carolina?

If I had one more "good" reason to move out of state, it would be to move closer to my favorite supplier. I have really been thinking about moving out of state, but wouldn't be doable for awhile. North Carolina is sounding like a good choice imo. Any takers?

I'm in NC, bonus that i get next day shipping from madvapes! Taxes in this state are really fricking high though. Good job market around the raleigh/durham area.

The taxes are a bummer, but regular shipping getting to me next day is very nice.

I moved here from Maryland about 4 years ago and haven't looked back. Taxes are about the same once you average it all out. We didn't pay personal property tax there but in NC we do but it's only on a car and motorcycle about 280.00 a year for both. My S10 pickup is so old they dont tax me on it anymore. Tags for the vehicles are a little less too and car insurance is about 30-40% cheaper!! Since I was a law enforcement officer I am exempted from state income tax on my retirement. That was one of MY deciding factors in moving here. The other was the people. I'm one of the boys now and I'm lovin' it!

I moved here from Mass 6 years ago and although sometimes I miss my family that's back up north, I don't miss much about Mass. I love no snow shoveling and wearing shorts year round

Sales tax is a bit higher here but my Real Estate tax dropped from $7000 a year to $2300 a year.

I'm still a Boston sports fan but I'd love to see the Panters do something good this year.
