I've seen a lot of mixed reviews about the gear best website. Last night I ordered IJust2 (I'm a beginner, not ready for box mod imo) and it was 50% cheaper than I've seen on Amazon ect. I know that it is based in China and usually takes a month (if I'm lucky) to get the stuff but I chose expidited shipping and it says I should get it within a week.. Anyone have experience with this? Is it a scam & ive lost my $? Lol :-/ I got excited about the deal & didn't really do my homework

Gearbest is hit and miss on a lot of things. I've seen items advertised through them that are double the price of what the actual OEM price is. I've also seen items that are half the price.

reviews are mixed. Some love 'em, some hate 'em. All I can recommend is if you're going to try them out, do so with a low cost item first and go from there.

There OK as long as they have your item instock. They are notorious for showing item instock in the pages but once you have paid them all of a sudden the item is out of stock, then they play a dangle a carrot infront of you game for eons with wait a few more days BS, turns into a month then you complain and they put your order into pre-shipping. You cant get a refund after that then wait at their mercy. That was my first and last time I delt with gearbest and it was a 3 dollar subtank bell cap that took 3 months to be delivered. I've read enough about their shenanigans to be weary about ordering from them.

I've heard they're more reliable , are they overseas also?

FastTech is fairly reliable and you can get your items fairly quickly IF it's in stock. A lot of times, you play the waiting game but you will eventually get your item.

Interesting. Are the clones POS? I see authentic plastered everywhere but I'm skeptical about how true that is.. Lol
I think it depends, I got some Kayfun clones and they are good quality. I have read that in some cases the clones are better. You just have to research before making the purchase. I find it confusing and overwhelming myself. Still trying to find the right tank...

Ah ok.. well thanks for the advice guys! I'm sure I'll be a vape expert sooner or later. It's my new love :)
:) give yourself time - you are on the right track

GearBest is not one I order from regularly - their track record with me is pretty spotty - never got ripped off, but have gone back and forth with them a couple of times... overall, have had better luck with FastTech, though they can have the dreaded "cranial-rectal condition" sometimes as well

Keep in mind, depending on what you are looking for, there are often US based vendors (for now, anyway...) with very competitive pricing and excellent service (sweet-vapes.com, myvaporstore.com are just a couple)

A site called vapecrawler.com can be pretty helpful in sourcing a deal too (search engine that checks vape vendors for pricing on a specific item) and there are often (especially recently) some great sales or coupon deals running around

keep the faith and vape on, sister :)

Nice, definitely love the deals. I'm on budget , but realistically I spent at least 200$ a month on cigarettes.. I wanna invest in stuff that I enjoy. Thanks for the sites :) I'll check em' ;)
