anyone ever try taking the crystal off the atomizer cap?

I know it doesn't screw off, too bad I'd like to put a flat cap or compass on the back, but oh well.

anyone try prying it off? is there a flat surface either under the crystal or under the gold?

The crystals are flat underneath and glued into the gold cap with just a couple dabs of glue. Typically they can come out with just a little prying, though I don't recommend it for fear of damaging the gold USB cap.

I can buy a sanitation cap with flat black of the same color to trade yours if its something i'm intrested in

I had planned to remove the cap from mine originally, but to be honest, it kind of grew on me.

I removed the crystal from one of them. It will stand on end now and looks nice.

edit: I was referring to the battery cap not the sanitary end cap.

This place sells the Atomiser and cover for $11.00 and the end cap on the atty cover is black check it out. But to answer your question yes I have pulled one off. They are just glued in, I removed mine and pulled out the gold peice from the cover. Then I sanded down the gold peice until it was flat and then super glued it back into the cover.
