I feel mentally better about my choice to vape over traditional smoking....but physically, no since I've always been a fairly athletic person. I've been without a cigarette for about 4 months. Longest ever in 14 years of smoking cigarettes. This, I feel fantastic about, but not as fully as I could be if I had not replaced it with a new habit of course. Although my intentions were not to quit smoking altogether.
I'm comfortable enough to believe that
vaping is better for me, so I continue the habit in another form...abusively in terms of usage and financially.I haven't noticed a problem with breathing or a lack of taste during traditional smoking. But what I have found with vaping as much as I do, is I have phlegm all the friggin time!
I know what some would say, that's my lungs trying to clear themselves....I would be more willing to believe this if it didn't happen with my
heavier days of vaping. Also, I'm a nose/mouth combo exhaler. Can't help it, done this for 14 years. Anyway, I notice now, I have crusties in my nose in the morning when I wake up...hate to be gross, but that's what it is.

Drives me insane, yet I keep doing it.
But, overall I'm happy about my transition. Now, if only I could pace myself...
