I've had a lot of luck I guess on mods. I've never had an issue with one dying on me. Now there have been occasions were I've ruined mods by my own stupidity, but never the fault of the product itself. I even had smok mods that I've had for years that work just fine. I know people like to bash on smok, but in my opinion, their mods are decent quality. Their tanks and coils are a different story.

I've got Innokins that are still working after at least 3-5 years (MVP2, MVP 20W, MVP30W, Coolfire IV). Eleafs still going strong after the same length of time (iStick Mini 10W, iStick 20W, iStick 30W) even though they're ALL internal battery mods! Also still have a stash of eGo-T 1100mAh batteries bought 5-6 years ago...that still work fine when I test them. Kanger TopEvod, Subvod, and Mega Evod Kits are also still working after 4-5 years. JoyeTech eGo One set-ups, still going, too.

Eleaf Picos are also very long-lasting, but they're external battery mods. I don't know how long my GV Aegis mods will last yet, or any of my Vaporesso mods, because I've gotten got them all since last August. My stash of ProVaris...will likely outlive me!

I've been through a great deal of SMOK's and Wismec's. Each seems to last me a year or less before the thing breaks. The buttons seem to just stop working on the Wismec's. If you've had a mod last you longer than a year, what kind was it? Where did you get it from?

ALL my Mods are over a Year OLD.

LOL

My Daily Driver, a Wismec Surface 80w, is about 14 Months old. And still on the 1st Bottle!

And my Main On-the-Go mod, an Evic Primo SE, is coming up on its 3 Year Anniversary in August.

I've got a whole drawer full of other Mods, some are Much Older than 1 Year. But I don't use them all that much.

Don't have very many mods and only one of them is way over 1 year old... my little Innokin EZ Watt (internal battery 35 watts) Just today, the micro USB port started acting up (had to wiggle it to get it to charge) Its has got a lot of use and now is my carry around. My other mods (18650 batteries) I take super good care of (and they never leave the house... can't afford to buy much stuff) My brand new mod (Vaporesso Revenger X and two new 19650 batteries for it) haven't even tried it yet. I've come a long way since my Aspire PockeX all in one... I really do want to get just one mech mod though ;)

    Contest Winner!
I have a mech that's almost 4 years old, and an iStick that's close to 5 or a bit more I think. I won an Innokin 134 mini in a contest here and the button crapped out in a few months and it auto fires too. That's probably my fault though. I have several other mods (a Pico, an Armor, and a Cold Steel) that I bought that still work fine, except for one of them that I replaced after I tried to fix it and couldn't (the Pico). It was my own fault that it broke though. I would have to find their invoices to see when I bought them, with the oldest maybe at least two years ago and the newest probably 6 months or so. So, to put it my way, all my mods work except for the ones that don't.

eta: oh yeah, I have Provari that I bought a couple/few years ago from someone here so I don't know exactly how old it is, but it is working perfectly.

Does it count if you aren't using them? Because I have 8 Eleaf Invokes in the closet with Tom Cruise um going on a couple years now, I think? I also have the original, which I won, which was AWESOME because I love that vape. I still have the original and I used it HARD for like going on 3 plus years. I finally put it away for a bit of a rest I love that vape, a two battery mod, super light, withstands drops and well, it's great.

I have my "resting" mods, my "Slightly annoying but usable mods" (like they need something to hold the battery door shut, or are missing a top screw that I have not gotten around to yet, my "In case the current mod is destroyed, break glass because I love it so much" stash, and well, my vacopalypse stash. A few mechs, one I actually vaped which was cool. I know I can.

Had I known what was to come, well, maybe I would have bought 8 Ages instead, but honestly, you can't go back like that, and that mod is great, I have no regrets.

I am discovering my favorite form factor is like, the 217- mods I AM gonna get the new Ages that takes that battery (I forget what it is called) and well, some more Precisios for the vape stash, there is something magical about that battery size for me. But I'm not gonna go NUTS. Or anything.

Or well, do I really need more stuff doesn't sound like it much.

ProVari P3 is six years old and still going strong - my all day, every day device. All my ProV 2's are still working after 8 or 9 years (admittedly only used occasionally since the P3)..
My original MVP has a built-in battery and is still working and holding a charge - it's indestructible and must be powered by something magical, it cant be a Li-ion :?: !!
Of the cheaper mods, the Eleaf Invoke has travelled the world with me twice now and is working fine... And another long forgotten mod - the Eleaf Aster, the most ergonomically perfect device made by Eleaf and still working long after many more expensive ones have ceased to function.

Innokin Endura T22e. Bought in 2016. I haven't heavily used it though as I was smoking and vaping for 3 years until May this year, however, I've been using it at work (construction sites). Usual tear and wear, but functionality is still there, and the battery still holds a good charge.
All other mods I own I only had for 3 months or less so time will only tell. Got a Smok Majesty Luxe mod, so far fine, however, it feels like the first time I drop it will be it's last.

I have a few iStick Picos (OG 75W) that are several years old. I really don't even know how old they are any more. One I got from a local brick and mortar and, honestly, I don't remember where the other two came from. The only mods I've had fail outright have been Smok products. Friends don't let friends buy Smok.

My Provari's and REOs are pretty much unkillable so far some are 7+ years old.

My Joyetech penguins tend to last about 2 years (don't bother with the dolphin they die in less than a year).

I have several KBox minis that are from the original run and are still going strong. So what 4years old or more?

I have over 100 mods (mech and regulated)... never had a need to toss any of them out because they failed (I take care of my gear). All but one of them was bought between March 2013 and October 2018 (a last stray was added June 2019). That said many of the early ones bought didn't see use for very long before they were retired, and several were never used at all. IOW finding what worked best for my vaping style meant buying and trying a lot of gear. Some of the most hyped that were high end in the end where a total fail for my uses (ProVari, VapourArt, ect - thousands of dollars not well spent). And that same pattern fit some of the others that came later as well. So exactly how long the failures were used would vary from maybe a year plus to as little as a month or two. Longest used was the Reos (some that date back to Feb 2011) that I vaped from mid summer 2014 until I quite vaping last fall. Fav Reos were the 5 P67's and 4 2015 Woodvil's. The last 2 years or so I only vaped my 29 Mesh RDA's and RTA's on the various mods I still used. All my gear is boxed in storage, out of site - out of mind and will stay there.

All time favorite mech squonk mods was 37 Reos (including 11 Woodvil's) and the DripTech D-S's. For the regulated/TC, etc (not really my cup of tea though) noteworthy I guess were the Sigelei 213's, Asmodus Minikin 120W & 150W, Eleaf Pico Squeeze 2's, Eleaf Pico's, Dovpo Topsides mainly because they were the ones I used the longest before I stopped vaping (all of them well over one to up to multiple years with zero issues). I have ton's of others and well over 200 atty's, but most of them saw limited service or none at all.

Last picture is of 14 of the 16 Reo Mini's (missing is 2 18490 Woodvils)
