My two eleaf istick Pico's are still going strong after five years of use. They're all I use too. The display screen is a little wonky on one of them though. Doesn't really matter to me, since they're locked in at 13 watts. Some old Innokin stuff from 2013 and 2014 were going strong when I stopped using them. I like the Pico form factor better.

Anyone have a box off misfit mods? You know, the 510 pin is a bit wriggly or something else? Mod still works and you are like "I gotta save it for the stash but it's not that fun to vape anymore.

Also I have problems tossing dead mods I keep imagining they will come back to life some day. Just like toy story. They are all probably in there commiserating on how hard I dropped them or how badly I leaked into them LOL.

I am IMPROVING though.

I have the Jackaroo. Yes, it is very heavy, it appears to have been made from lead. I'm cool with that. Based on its performance I bet I have it more than a year. I am not necessarily all big on Vandy vape but I like the Jackaroo a lot also it reminds me of Aus in some nebulous way I cannot quite remember.

Yes I have many but I am also the kind of person that can buy a Chinese tool from Harbor Frieght and make it last longer than DeWalt in most people's hands. I have a old IPV-5 I have been using for years, so long in fact the stainless steel finish began to wear off. So I had the guy that sprayed my truck (entire truck) with bed liner material that is damn near indestructible, spray it, and it carries on. Not to mention matches my truck ☺️ it's a oldie but a goodie. Kinda like me.

I've bought a lot of mods over the years, and i think i never really had a vape truly break down on me. Well, i think i used up a couple of ego-batts.

It's more like the finish gets scuffed and i don't want to use it anymore. Case in point the Smok Alien... the paint bubbled up and peeled off... still works though. Or the vapor shark DNA 40, all scratched up and worn out, but still working. My REO is also out of commission, would need a refresh kit.

But i guess the main reason is that i buy something new and stop using my old stuff before it breaks. Even though progress in vape technology has really slowed down a lot by now, i think today´s products still are a lot better than those from 2 years ago.

I've got mods older than 6 years still chugging along just fine... including Wismec and Smok.

I stopped smoking cigarettes for 4 yrs after 45 years of smoking with V2 E-cigs then I started experimenting with kanger and a few batteries, tried mixing some tobacco flavors & lost interest. Someone I hadn't seen in years came to visit and I started smoking again, now its been 2 yrs and I want to stop. Looked for V2 and they're gone.
Have my old tanks and working batteries but forgot how to clean them. Was looking for Ecig that were as good as V2 and some sahara & congress E- liquid. I lent my old e-cigs out and never got them back. Guess I have to learn to clean my old tanks out. Your thoughts. Thank you

Don't know that this is the right thread for your questions but here's an answer...

migvapor.com has V2 compatible e-cigs and sells Sahara & Congress e-liquids. They call their version of Congress "House."

The batteries & cartomizers at smoktip.com are V2 compatible. The batteries, cartomizers, & clearomizers at premiumecigarette.com are V2 compatible. Vapor4Life sells V2 compatible products. TheMagicMist sells low quality V2 compatible products.

Everything with the same threading is interchangeable, though the power outputs may vary (a SmokeTip cartomizer on a Mig Vapor battery works but gets very hot quickly, for example). V2 threading was 808.

Yep all that AND

Half a dozen dead ego batteries I use as handles so I can hold on to a dripping atty and pull off a stuck cap. LOL

Funny how it goes. I waited a long time to get a ProVari. I finally bought one in 2014, just months before I got my iStick. The iStick became my daily driver and ProVari landed in a drawer. I loved everything about my iStick--form factor, the extended lip that accommodates larger diameter atties (no more beauty rings), the simple button to change wattage (no more round robin), and variable wattage!

The problem with ProVari was that it was designed to be used with cartomizers--by the time I got mine, nobody used cartomizers anymore.

I've used all sorts of 22mm atomizers with my Provari. Kayfun was one of those.

I ran across several boxes of Boge cartos in my vape cabinet the other day. They brought back fond memories of days gone by when I bought my first Provari. I guess I'll have to juice up one and re-experience the carto vape for old times sake.

Although technically listed as a kit my Aspire Tigon has had daily use since June of 2019 and all is well. I give a 10 as far as build quality. I suppose you could call it a Mod as it's Sub-ohm. I haven't seen a replacement battery listed for it though so when it doesn't hold a charge long enough I guess you replace the whole kit but then you get an extra Tank and nothing wrong with that. I guess in April 2021 I can report on The Aspire Dynamo Mod but all is well in functionality there too.
