smok, yes. But I disagree about Wismec. I have at least three Wismec mods in my rotation, 2 are several years old, and all are doing just fine, thank you.
Wismec is tricky. Some is pretty good, some not so much. I think the designers flip a coin. Like, "Will it suck, or WILL WE CREATE AWESOME." Then they flip a dime and they are like, "Will me make a batch of lemons, or will it be a batch of beautiful lemonade?"

I must have been lucky, then. Never had a problem with my Wismecs, and I love my Presa, which is at least 3 years old and constantly in use. Definitely Awesome!

My Wismec says on the box that it's manufactured by Joyetech. Heard that Joyetech, Wismec, and Eleaf are all brands of the same company. Everyone seems to feel that Eleaf products are reliable & durable and i don't see many complaints about Joyetech. Maybe it's different manufacturing plants that create different quality levels. ???

They are--Joyetech, Wismec and Eleaf are close cousins. All manufactured under the Joyetech umbrella. And the Eleafs are pretty much indestructible. My iStick 30, purchased in 2014, is still going strong and in frequent use.
ETA: I even own a few Joyetech eGos that are 7 or 8 years old, if not older, still working. But I stopped using them a long time ago.
I think one of the keys to making mods last is rotation. The one you use every day for years is probably going to fail sooner than the mods you use in rotation.
The other side of that coin is backups. You can never have too many. I ran across some more iStick Picos the other day still in their plastic wrapped boxes that I forgot about.
I've been through a great deal of SMOK's and Wismec's. Each seems to last me a year or less before the thing breaks. The buttons seem to just stop working on the Wismec's. If you've had a mod last you longer than a year, what kind was it? Where did you get it from?
